Could also be an Imperious Leader lurking somewhere. I often wondered why that particular character has never been referenced in the reimagined series.
I would love for it to be the Ship of Lights. If you go back to the original series when Starbuck wakes up there are 5 robed beings with him in the room. The entity John can be seen as a Head 6 and Head Baltar. Either Apollo or Starbuck’s uniform is pristine white after the encounter with the Beings. In the new series Tyrol makes the comment that Starbuck’s viper is as clean as if it were just made. Apollo, Starbuck, and Serina(?) come back and they instinctively know the way to earth as if they have been programmed. The same goes for Kara. She subconsciously knows the pathway to earth. I do believe that Ellen will be back. I believe that Cavil may have her. I’ve always felt that Cavil knows more about the 5 and their motives than he’s letting on. I also read that Dean Stockwell, Michael Trucco, Joan Vernon, and the guy that plays Tyrol are shooting a BSG movie together. I’m hoping that will finally give the backstory on Cavil and what his role.

I loved B5. But this is way better.
Starbuck is Imperious Leader
Sorry I missed the live thread. It was a very good episode. I can’t believe they killed off D.
I have to see the ending before I say this show is better than B5. To me season 3 of BSG kinda dragged this show down a bit.....
Its tons edgier
I don’t think so.. I think we may say either the ship of lights or Count Iblis..
I agree that is why I like the current version of BSG.... Still like the old BSG, but I prefer the new one..
we’ll see
Yeah, Friday night's episode was really, really awful.
Dark, depressing, nihilistic, hopeless.
Yuck.
And also senseless bordering on nonsensical - they blew so many massive holes in the plotline that I don't see how they can possibly put the thing back together again.
I was hoping that maybe they had put some thought into it, but then I glanced at this interview with Ron Moore:
http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2009/01/final-fifth-cylon-ellen-tigh-battlestar-galactica-dualla-dee-.htmlAnd pretty quickly it became clear that they are just winging it without any idea of what they're doing or where they're going with it.
Um you are so totally off base
Disagree
Best Sci-Fi on American TV
Definitely. I guess I should count myself among the lucky that I got to see Richard Hatch's 4-minute proposal for his BSG Next Generation series back at an old I-Con in Stony Brook, Long Island. Shame that they couldn't make it. They had some of the actors, Lorne Greene as a hologram dispensing wisdom, the last few minutes of footage even filmed of Jon Colicos (against a green screen, so it could be edited) and Count Ibley doing the narration. Damn. Sweet.
Have you pinged everybody from this thread?
Yep.... SO SAY WE ALL!!! Ugh no intro!!!!!!
I like the Doctor... Chaos in the fleet....
The whole series up to last week has been the escape to earth. For the next nine episodes it will be something else.
