Ethiopian Christians have claimed that the ark rests in a chapel in the small town of Aksum, in their country's northern highlands.

Here's Aksum (on Google maps). Think I'll zoom in and take a look around. And then head off to Mt. Ararat (in Turkey) to look for Noah's Ark while I'm at it.

The ark was basically what you’d call a Leyden bottle, or a primitive capacitor which was picking up electrostatic charge from the atmosphere. Israelites were using it as a communications device to reach the spirit world. The closest thing to it in our present world is EVP ( www.aaevp.com).

You can go to Aksum and see the church behind the fence but you can’t get in , the caretaker has a lifelong job which to my knowledge expires at his death.
Who knows what is in there but i don’t doubt for one minute what the Ethiopians have is NOT sacred.

It’s always better to go to the source material, rather than follow the imaginations of “scholars” thousands of years after the fact, such as the Ark being a capacitor.

If someone doesn’t want to believe the Old Testament account of what occured, that’s their right, but to ignore the ancient text in order to satisfy the beliefs of modern man is sheer folly.

It was the miraculous power of God that is not bound by or to nature - take it or leave it. Using natural law to explain what the Bible highlights as a miracle falls way short of the plain meaning of the text.

Well stated, I totally agree. I spent over 30 years in Law Enforcement and came across many people from Ethiopia and never met a dishonest one.

There's a story in the OT about a guy (Uzzah) who touched the thing and electrocuted himself and died (it was about to fall off a wagon and he tried to steady it):

2SA 6:2 And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims......

2SA 6:6 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

2SA 6:7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

2SA 6:8 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.

Now, when you read something like "the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims" you should comprehend that a wooden box with highly conductive handles is basically a primitive capacitor such as was called a Leyden bottle around the time that Benjamin Franklin and others started playing with such things, and the thing you see between those handles ("cherebim") is an electrical arc.

ALL ancient religious practices were intended to communicate directly with the spirit world, and they all involved static electricity and trance states; these included prophecy, oracles, familiar spirits, idolatry, and electrostatic devices including the ark, the pyramids, and things like the ark which Etrurians called "ka - mer" or "spirit catcher".

If you read closely enough, you will note that God works entirely within the laws of physics. If you want violations of natural laws, particualy the basic laws of mathematics and probability, you need to be talking to the evolutionites; they specialize in that kind of thing.

...Queen of Sheba, one of its first rulers, traveled to Jerusalem to partake of King Solomon's wisdom; on her way home, she bore Solomon's son, Menelik.

Interesting euphemism there. Wonder if that would work for a pick up line?

And like Obama’s supposed birth certificate — nobody is allowed to see it.
