The porn industry’s problems these days come from the so-called “democratization of porn.” The big porn producers are being replaced by small producers of porn operating out of their homes. Rather than an industry made up of a handful of studios in the San Fernando Valley, porn is being produced by literally thousands of “mom and pop” operations.
