Oh If
The glorious grassy hills of Erin
stretch down to the rolling sea
Over rocky hills and wooded glens
past ancient woods and peat laced fens
A sight for a Irishman to see
oh if I could but go back again
To taste the sweet scented air
to walk under ancient oaks again
To touch the land of my soul
it would indeed make me whole
Erasing ancient aching pains
there upon that land so fair

Scottish Shortbread
Yields: 30 to 40 squares
Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar (aka confectioner's or icing sugar)
- 4 1/3 cups flour
- 2 Tbs granulated sugar (or to taste)
Cream the powdered sugar and the butter, and mix in the flour a little at a time until thoroughly blended. Spread in about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thickness on a cookie sheet, and prick all over with the tines of a fork. Bake at 300F (150C) for about 30 minutes, until light golden brown. Sprinkle with granulated sugar immediately after removing from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bars or squares. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan

Hey, I have studied Emily Dickinson. She was very special. Music and Art in general have a direct connection to heaven. The Arts give us relief in a crazy, ungodly(at times) world!
It is uncanny how she expessed these ideas. We are human and a tiny fragment winthin divine. *To Something upper wooing us*.
Wooing you.....And you....and you!
