(((Dita!))) :)
How are you today? I’m just getting ready to go fix dinner.
How’s your weather? We are in for more snow tonight into tomorrow.
Hi, FRiend (((GeeBee))):) I guess BooBoo is hungry for that dinner, huh?:)
Wow, thought we had missed each other again. I couldn’t get online yesterday.
We have sunshine but a very cold wind is blowing.
I saw you are getting a freeze in the northeast.
Afternoon, Billie. Thanks for the pretty opening and the Taylor Hicks tunes. Listening to the “The Right Place” as I type. :-)
Stephanie reminds me of a female impersonator, if you know what I mean;^)*winkie, winkie*
I pegged Molly as the most wholesome and sincere of the bunch at the beginning, and still see that, maybe too vulnerable... I don’t know.
Jillian and Naomi are okay, but blanks to me.
Melissa makes it 5:)
The Right Place was one of my favorites from his Taylor Hicks album - don't play that cd very much since his Early Works came out. Now I'm really, really liking the full What's Right is Right song!
LOL Yes, I know what you mean. I didn’t get ‘that’ vibe from her though. At any rate, I really think she’ll be one of the next ones to go. So, here’s to Melissa and Molly as the final two. :)
Booboo is hungry...I'm getting there too. We will go to the store after dinner for snowday breakfast and dinner. I hope they are off tomorrow. Looks likely, assuming the weather report is correct.
Listening to Mozart’s 4th Symphony now - I am glad I saved it. It’s very familiar - I never remember the names and numbers. :)
Packing for Austrailia!! ...if Sarah doesn’t make it in 2012!
Sure was. I think he is a very nice, sensitive guy. He seems very concerned that no one gets hurt and there was no way any of those three were even close to being right for him.
After he sent Nikki packing, I got goose bumps while he danced with Stephanie, wondered if she might be the final one even though I dont see a lot of chemistry there, and I find something strange about her, cant put my finger on it. She looks like a trannie to me, lol.
Nikki was my pick right off the bat, because she seemed so natural and "normal", but the more we got to know her, the more it became obvious she was way too needy and uptight. It's too bad, because I think underneath her neediness is a really sweet person. She just kept coming more and more undone as the show progressed.
Yes, dita, I agree there is something strange about Stephanie, sort of stilted, or something. I think he loves the relationship she has with her daughter, but the chemistry just might not be there. They don't look quite right together, do they?
This morning, I decided Melissa could be the last one standing...:) Even though Molly is my top pick, she may not be the best fit.
Maybe it's just me, but I am not sure any of them are a perfect match for him, but then we are just seeing bits and pieces of the entire process.....we see what the producers want us to see.
I know they are competing with each other for his attention, so I know they can't be shrinking violets, but I think if I were him I'd be put off by some of the forwardness and neediness these women display. Shannon especially was way over the top, she was almost scary. LOL
Thanks, Billie. I am feeling fine, I am just having a hard time finding time to be here most days. I don't know where the time goes but I am hardly able to sit down at my computer anymore. Just seems like there is always something pulling me away from my friends at Amy's Place. :-(
I enjoy listening to classical but it’s mostly favorite composers. If it’s on too long or gets too crazy, it will start to get to me. Rachmaninov is another favorite!
The articles are mostly a repeat...
Hi Polly! Long time no talk at ya. Go Sarah!
Hi, MB, I had to take an unplanned break and then the computer froze up bigtime.
Nikki made a very good first impression, but just couldn’t loosen up as time went on. I thought, wow, you have a got a problem breaking down at the thought of writing a cute little love song. Her emotions seemed out of proportion. She is too fragile of a flower.
It looked to me that he eliminated the women who are too tense or self-involved, and kept the ones who opened up/yielded to him more. On the other hand, I think he does want a woman who knows her own mind!
The real test will be seeing them with his son.
From the little clip of next week’s show at the end, it looked like Steph might be next to go.
But I think you nailed it, Lori, the show is manipulated in ways to lead us to think certain things, and then the outcome is different.
Oh yeah, Shannon was creepy and just plain annoying in every way. Ick.
LOL. I had this experience yesterday, tuned in to classic music radio. Normally, I can keep it on a long time but could hardly stand 3 minutes of it. I guess it's a "mood" thing.
Polly, there are deer in the Santa Monica mountains near the Getty Center. I saw a gigantic buck there once. I suspect their habitat is getting ever smaller, though.
Oh, and some friends who live in Pacific Palisades used to see a deer family from their kitchen window.
Just added that Forrest Gump Fudge Cake to my recipe file.
I’m surrounded by chocolate lovers.
Thu Dad is gonna be a hero again when he supplies dessert at the next great family gathering. Thanks
