And all those elements with atomic numbers higher than Fe were formed by spontaneous RNA linkages.

No

“The simple light-sensitive spot on the skin of some ancestral creature gave it some tiny survival advantage, perhaps allowing it to evade a predator.”

And how does “it” know it evaded a predator? Who (or what) sends the information to whom (or where) in the body to send the correct amount and kind of cells to that location to start improving the spot . . . where is that center of data processing? What does that info look like? Who handles it? Where? Hmm? Looks like you need an “intelligent designer” to send back all the correct parts to the correct location . . . and hey, why not put two of whatever we’re sending back to that location . . . and let’s put it on the head instead of on its ass . . . or how about a spot on both ends of the body . . . what a bunch of crap!

Oh please. Evolution and their believers have continously attacked Christianity. No one and certainly not you can keep people from expressing their points of view and defending their beliefs. Evolution is religion not science so what you have started here is a religious thread. Thanks!

Please do not inject religion into a scientific discussion. Please respect the "caucus" designation.

an “intelligent designer”

Intelligent design has been found to be a religious concept. Please respect the Science Caucus.

were you a janiter in a science lab?

Even janitors, great Americans, know how to spell Janitor. Did you go to Herverd?

Intelligent design has been found to be a religious concept.

Only if you are a follower of the religion that declared this to be a religious concept.

by incubating short RNA fragments in water of different temperatures and pH.

Is the article suggesting that if not for some intelligent manipulation, this experiment could not of succeeded. or is "intelligent manipulation" a religious concept too?

Gee Soliton—it’s a sad day when intelligent conservatives can’t discuss science without low-brow tub-thumpers showing up demanding that a witch be burned ....
Alchemy is to chemistry, and astrology is to astronomy, and religion is to philosophy—what creation and “intelligent design” are to natural selection and evolution.
Carry on FRiend.

Well there you have it.

Secular Humanism is a well known liberal religion propagated by forced indoctrination in public schools. This violates the 1st Amendment.

My days are numbered FRiend. After 10 years, I will be banned soon. I have been forbidden to access the religion forum, and even though I obeyed, I was still suspended for claiming the Shroud of Turin is a fraud in a non-religion forum. This may be my last night on FR.

Many an evolutionist would like to masquerade as the scientists practicing science though

Absolutely. Please do not comment on a science caucus unless you are a scientist,
