I have no doubt that a job loss is tough on an individual (been there). Many people would like to assign the term ‘recession’ to some sort of level of hopelessness. Problem is that this is kind of hard to measure.

The term “pending recession” sort of acknowledges the collective pain while ridiculing the strict definition. Perhaps that is suitable.

Look for China to take Taiwan. Obama will not do or say anything.

Obama will send an envoy to settle the infighting between Hamas and the PLO. Look for them and the Iranians to start trouble in Israel. Again, Obama will do nothing.

Interesting... in the dead pool, I will go with these: Karl Malden, Lady Thatcher, Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Patrick Swayze (pan cancer is just too tough), Amy Winehouse, and Justice Stevens. Obama's approval ratings to plunge to 20% as the MSM finally turns on him and feeds off itself.

Well I disagree about the 40 million more "immigrants".

The economy will be in the tank so bad, there will be no need or desire for them to come here.

In fact I imagine some that are here will return back to Mexico for better opportunities.
