To assume that two birds are homosexual because they exhibit odd behaviors is absolutely ludicrous. You cannot attribute human behaviors to other species.

That's anthropomorphism.

It's ironic that they don't seem to have noticed (or failed to report) that animals under the neurosis-inducing conditions of captivity frequently manifest themselves in a variety of behaviors that are abnormal (emphasis on abnormal) to their species. That doesn't mean they are somehow “born gay”. It just means they are disturbed (well, come to think of it.... maybe????).

I stand by my statement. If people want to attribute a pair of penguin’s ritual grooming behavoirs to homosexuality, it’s only because that’s what they want to see (possibly to validate something about themselves?).

If it somehow does manifest itself in abnormal sexual behaviors, it’s because capativity has altered their normal behavior patterns.

It would seem that anthropomorphizing critters does thrust the whole gay agenda into the lime light and spins off into other areas. Sigh ... glad I'm not raising kids in this day-and-age ... what they are exposed to is deviant.
