I have seen plenty of Lions games on Thanksgiving, but this was the worst game by the Lions on Thanksgiving that I have seen in my life....

If they had the Rams on the schedule, they might have a chance.

Fire Marinelli now.
It’s not all his fault, but coaching change may at least show someone is serious. Might win them one game.

Three words -— Tampa Bay Bucs (at the inception).

It’s really hard to top (bottom?) the 76 Buccaneers. It wasn’t just the winless season it was just how bad they were.
Finally just two words...Steve Spurrier.

Tampa Bay went 20 something games before their first victory in the mid 70s.

Difference being that Detroit has been around for a while and Tampa hadn’t.

The hapless fins of last year turned around their season. I don't see this in Detroit's future. Does anything in that state work right?

The question is: who keeps deciding to put the worst NFL team on Thanksgiving Day vs a far superior team year after year?
Does the Detroit Lions have some racy pics of the NFL commish?

The Bucs went 0-14. The Lions could go 0-16. Let's wait and see.

26 straight before winning last two games of ‘77.

Haven’t they played some close games against good or at least fair teams? Yes but it’s a pity when they are playing poor on Thanksgiving where they usually rise to the occasion but I don’t think they are necessarily the worst ever. Every year it seems you have some poor teams. I feel sorry for their fans.

Detroit fans are left to recall the glory days of the Wayne Fontes (coaching) era, when they actually won a playoff game.
This is the only playoff win in the last, what, 51 years?

It’s time for another Millen Man March!

The Bucs went 0-26 before they won their first game.
And at a franchise winning pct of .400 they remain the worst American pro franchise ever (save the Texans).
