Cider disagrees with me. And anyway, it’s much too warm here!
Our viola player is coming over to practice tonight. Hopefully it won’t take forever, after we dealt with the major catastrophes (like arrangement with a vocal going up to a high-A) last night.

Downtown was wild today.
We were all told to shut it down and go home at around 11:00. Easier said than done, it’s a two-hour bus ride in good weather for me to get home in the middle of the day.
Fortunately my husband was at Boeing Field, so he came up and picked me up.

We got enough snow to coat 2nd Avenue and close alot of the streets that head toward the bay.
There were articulated buses jackknifing all over the place, chains and all. It was coming down pretty good.

"There were articulated buses jackknifing all over the place ..." I like a bus that is clean, and articulate.

My coworkers all had a story to tell once they finally made it in. 5th and Columbia was an especially difficult intersection.
I think the last time this happened they stopped running the articulated buses because they couldn’t control them. Not so today.

The ones I get on sure don’t (metro) but I wouldn’t be surprised if the SoundTransit buses get it.
I get it on the train. I can FReep while I commute to work.

Evening. Done with viola practice for now, but I’m going over to Amanda’s house Sunday morning to practice another song for which she didn’t bring the music tonight.
I have a lot of work to do between now and Wednesday, and then we have to do everything over in Spanish a week from Sunday!

Ostensibly, for those residents of the Flying Castle who "commute" by way of the spherical elevator cars, a departure at the same time every day to the same destination would follow the same route, but it doesn't!
The traffic program follows a printed-circuit routing algorithm, selecting pathways based on A to B, but also on what kind of other traffic may be moving through the system.
Among other things, this automatically avoids stoppages, and maintenance snags, but in theory it could easily take you quite the long way around.
However, the communication programs are supposed to be continuous within the system.
