I agree, I am so tired of all the negativity. I think it is time to take inventory of myself and change what I can.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but....
You said: "I despise the man and his politics. May he fail miserably"
Please don't label me
racist
The unverifiable claim. You say you were also poster so-and-so. Whatever.
So let me get this straight. According to your home page, attacking someone for being a newbie is wrong. Then you attack me for being a “newbie.” (And you consider someone who’s been here almost four years a “newbie.” Well, we shouldn’t be surprised. After all, you think Obama ran as a “conservative.”)
>> The electorate has shifted leftward, and pretty clearly. This election is simply the fullest expression of that.
If this were truly the case, Obama wouldn’t have needed to talk about “tax cuts” and victory in Afghanistan to get himself elected. He wouldn’t have been required to repudiate Reverend Wright. He wouldn’t have attacked John McCain for hiking taxes on medical insurance payments.
His rhetoric and attacks were based in fundamentally conservative principles ... that tax cuts are good, that the economy benefits therefrom, that robust pursuit of terrorists in Afghanistan is necessary, etc.
>> When you’ve got states like Indiana and North Carolina and Virginia going into the ‘Rat column, you’ve got to let that slap in the face wake you up.
Clearly a repudiation of the Republican Party ... not conservatism. When you’ve got two liberal parties, it is impossible to vote for a conservative. After 8-years of free spending, the country justifiably doesn’t trust the Republican Party anymore.
H
Do you not understand that I want his policies, his ideology to fail?
I do not want: a weakened military, a weakened response to the WoT, a weaker economy, higher taxes, a depleted health care system, amnesty, curtailment on the freedom's of speech and the 2nd amendment and the myriad of other liberal wants and desires.
IMO, no, two wrongs don’t make a right. We need to fight bad policy and bad government but let’s not stoop to the level of the MSM.

Despise - to regard with contempt, distaste, disgust, or disdain; scorn; loathe.
I don't see hatred in there.....
Racist? Whatever...I could care less what color(s) he is.
Barrack Obama is not my President, and never will be. I wouldn’t cross the street to piss on him if he was on fire.
>> The unverifiable claim. You say you were also poster so-and-so. Whatever.
I honestly couldn’t care less. I have no need to prove myself to an anonymous voice behind a keyboard.
>> So let me get this straight. According to your home page, attacking someone for being a newbie is wrong. Then you attack me for being a newbie.
I attacked you for your lack of respect.
>> And you consider someone whos been here almost four years a newbie.
I consider you “newer” than me. I figured you’d appreciate the turnaround.
>> Well, we shouldnt be surprised. After all, you think Obama ran as a conservative.
That he couched his arguments in conservative rhetoric is entirely undeniable.
H
That would be hard, they are very good at what they do. I simply don't have the ability to speak bald-faced lies with a straight face.
>> I do not want: a weakened military, a weakened response to the WoT, a weaker economy, higher taxes, a depleted health care system, amnesty, curtailment on the freedom’s of speech and the 2nd amendment and the myriad of other liberal wants and desires.
This is CLEARLY not what I was referring to when I wished “success” for President Obama.
H
>> Barrack Obama is not my President, and never will be.
Unless you plan to renounce your American citizenship — I am afraid you’re mistaken.
H
Obama's successes, I believe, would be at the expense of this country.
Well, then that was what I was getting at.
Obama's successes, I believe, would be at the expense of this country.
I'm not planning to renounce my citizenship. But I will never consider that loathsome person anything more than just an accidental guest in the White House. He is not, and never will be, a legitimate President in my eyes. You can feel free to wish him well, but I hope for nothing but utter failure for him in the next 4 years. The worse things go for him, the better they will be for this country in the long term. I will not support a single thing he ever does. Period.
The American people have elected this moron- they deserve everything they're going to get in the next 4 years, good and hard.
Yea. 'Hatred' is totally different than 'contempt', 'distaste', 'disgust', 'disdain', 'scorn', and 'loathe'. What was I thinking? Good catch.
Racist? Whatever....
Just trying to inject a little ironic humor there.
Class Warfare and Surrender are NOT tax cuts and a strong national defense.
Sorry, I missed your humor. I have a thin skin (sheesh, no pun intended), with the amount of bigotry and hatred that was launched at McCain and especially Palin.
Somehow, it was acceptable to be bigoted regarding McCain's age and make light of Palin's appearance among other things.
There a few positive notes from last night. First, the marriage amendments that passed, and finally, the fact that Congress won't have Bush to kick around anymore.
Congress may actually have to show some leadership.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>> Obama’s successes, I believe, would be at the expense of this country.
If it is at the expense of the country, then why would you call it “success”?
H
One of my friends said something along the lines of ‘Jesse Jackson is crying cause he can’t use his ‘Whitey’s keepin us down!’ line any more and now he’ll have to find something else to do.’
