"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Happy Friday after Thanksgiving.
I think I failed to thank you for your beautiful Thanksgiving Blessings post yesterday. You got lost between the Holidays and the turkey. :)
I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving with your family.
Also, I want to thank you for your Opening and hostessing the doors on Sundays. I appreciate it. Your Sunday Graphics and tables add so much beauty to Amy’s Place.

Thank you, Jaycee.
I went back today to see if I forgot anyone or anything. It looked and looked but could not find my original post to Meg. :(
Knowing me I probably forgot to hit post after previewing it.
We had a nice vacation, though we did get rain on Tuesday. Marissa was disappointed because she wanted to play on the beach one more time.
When it rained we went shopping (another of Marissa’s favorite things.) We bought her another nice dress. She may want to wear this one to the Christmas Tea. We will keep both, because she will need a dress for the Christmas program at church and also a FResno FReeper Christmas Dinner.
The next few weeks will be hectic at my place.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

WOWIE! Thats beautiful....I almost forgot this was our RED FRIDAY! Holidays make me crazy on what day it is. I just put a nice beef roast in the oven, with potatoes, carrots, onions, and I wish I could capture that smell. I like beef better than turkey but I will have a turkey sandwich or two along the way.

WE had a great day and are happy to hear that your day was blessed with family.
My brother and my BIL joined us for dinner yesterday. It was wonderful to have company. Marissa enjoyed sitting beside her granddad and seeing him beam as she offered grace. There was much to be thankful for.

WE had ham and eggs for breakfast and are planning on turkey leftovers for lunch.
I love the leftovers but I will freeze some of the leftover turkey for later. I’m considering a ham for Christmas and the leftover frozen turkey.
