1. She should point out- concerning her husband’s DUI that he got at 22, in which no one was injured and nothing was damaged, that the MSM is so interested in——point out that he faced more punishment for that than Teddy K.-the Lyin’ Lion of Chappaquiddick.

She should include this:

“Our opponents, who claim they believe in protecting the privacy of Americans, have been dispatched to Alaska. They are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to smear my family. They have somehow obtained access to personal information about my family, and are irresponsibly releasing it to the world. They have gone through my elementary school records, created a phony MYSpace account for people close to me, and searched my public records for anything they can use to make you distrust me. They have even gone so far as to suggest that one of my children is not really mine.

Well, here is my answer to them.

I am, and will remain prolife. I am and will remain a defender of your second amendment RIGHT to keep and bear arms, and to defend you family. I will continue to defend your right to speech, your right to freely assemble, and your right to practice your religion, free from government censorship.
I will fight for working class families, and will oppose unnecessary taxes.
And, I will defend your right to keep your personal health and medical records out of the hands of unscrupulous people who want to use them against you.

I understand that as a public official, I do have an obligation to let you know who I am, though, and I recognize that the media has a duty to ensure that I am who I say I am.

For that reason, I will never try to hide any official documents that involve my public decisions. I will not hide, or demand the suppression of public documents.

The media has already sought, without opposition from me, all my public records, and has even obtained my college thesis, among many others.

There is one document, though, that they might not have sought, and I can’t imagine why. But, I know that good investigative journalists, doing their public duty, will need to verify my age.

So, here, complete, official, and without any markings on it, is my Cetificate of Live Birth.”

I think Palin’s pitch for Hillary voters last Friday was too crudely explicit, and backfired. Have you seen the polls? Palin needs to sell herself as a leader, which she genuinely is, and stop talking like an affirmative action pick. I never heard Margaret Thatcher talk about how important it was to become the first woman Prime Minister; If she had, she never would have become PM.

Considering how close Hillary came to being the nominee & the historic significance of that, she almost had to do it. Can you imagine the backlash if she hadn't? Then she would have been accused of being disrespectful to her own gender, to Hillary's "accomplishments"...blah, blah, blah. It was just something she needed to do. She did & now we can all move on. I don't think Hillary needs to be mentioned again.

And the fact that they’re so “fear-filled” says a lot. I expect her to knock ‘em dead!

I haven’t heard Palin yet but tonight I will. I agree - and I hope she doesn’t pander for votes - just let her be who she is and that is more than enough to get votes. She’s not a powder puff lady - like Hillary acted when she claimed in her run for senator - that her opponent “stepped into her territory “. Hillary wanted to be crowned queen by her subjects, Sarah exposes corruption - the ‘roll up your sleeves’ type worker. How refreshing!
