FR has some new servers on order. Hopefully that will help with the slowness.

I’m using Corel PaintShopPro but there are MANY features that I have not tried.

One of these days I will read more than a page or two of the manual. :)

I like the word “emphasis” over “loyalty”

I feel loyalty here also but have great friends at other places & do not see this as an affront to Jim or FR.

Time limits all of us

We all go where we feel happy & comfortable & welcome

okay.. I need a bath badly.. was in deep forest, heavy woods (poison ivy, stinging nettle etc) , mud, and have “dog shake” all over me from walk in woods & couple hours at the Rocky River at the grounds of the cemetery which is our family grave site

it was a glorious day here in Ohio.. sunny beautiful. Next several day predicted rain & gloom

I have 4600 pix to edit and am grateful for my new monitor (hex on the 15 inch 10 year old one.. but am grateful for loan) in which to process them the next few days

I have 3 sets for newspaper publication & some for friends & family

I really love doing this & want to learn more skills but for now what I do/have does suffice

Today is the Best Day of My Life

Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever! There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I'm going to celebrate! Today, I'm going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger. I will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy heart. I will marvel at nature's seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds. Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice. Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I'll make someone smile. I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know. Today, I'll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down. I'll tell a child how special he is, and I'll tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me. Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don't have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me. I'll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine. And tonight, before I go to bed, I'll go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens. I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise nature for these magnificent treasures. As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow, I will thank the Almighty for the best day of my life. And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation because I know tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life, ever!

What Paint Shop Pro version? I use PSP and 9 is my fave though I have them all.

It’s versatile enough that I think I’ll be figuring out new ways to use it for years to come.

Don’t read the manual. Either figure it out yourself or ask me if I know how to do it.

Before I replaced my pc and started using Vista, I used Jasc PaintShop Pro V6. I had used Jasc Paint Shop thru several versions.

When I searched for an upgrade to use with Vista. I found that Corel had purchased PaintShopPro from Jasc.

I purchased Corel PaintShopPro PhotoX2. I have tried some of the new features and I like it. I just do not have time to sit and read the manual so I’ve been reading when I find it necessary.

I don’t know .... emphasis or loyalty?

My time is limited with lots of responsibilities .... family, business, friendships and Amy’s Place. So I do understand limited time.

I have tried to make everyone who visits feel comfortable, welcome and happy.

I had 36 FRiends on my short ping list of regular visitors .... and a ping list of 68 total visitrs. Some of these have asked to be removed and some have just stopped coming by. There are now 14 who come by once a week or so. Recently 5 or 6 have been here daily to keep Amy’s Place open.
