Thanks for sharing that beautiful Monday Sunrise, OESY.
Thank you for being here everyday with your many contributions.
I’m blonde and don’t have any hair there.
I put it in the front window but no one had said anything yet.
They’re lucky I haven’t given it to anyone.
Ahhh .... coffee and a donut.
Thank you, Yorkie ..... I grabbed that for breakfast earlier.
Good afternoon, Pollywog. Sorry that I missed you this morning.
Thank you for your kind words. Looking forward to when you have more time to spend with us.
Have a Marvelous Monday.
Thank you.
Happy Monday, Meg.
Thank you.
Do those optimizer sites compress files as well as reduce them in size?
You can often compress a file to half the kbs it uses and lose just a little quality.
I can post examples if anyone is interested.
Good afternoon, Cardhu.
The only thing pretty in this presentation is the music. I cannot feel any compassion for those idiots that find amusement in torturing animals. It certainly is not sport.
I prefer the beauty that you usually bring.
They do not reduce dimensions..but you can reduce bytes dramatically without losing quality.
I can take a 500,000 byte picture to 60,000 bytes.
It is more difficult to retain quality with layered graphics using this ..some work some don’t
300,000 bytes or less

over 300,000 bytes
JPG links only..no animations

Happy “International Literacy Day”, Meg.
If you get an address, let me know; I have a few that need to be returned.
LOL ..... Maxine is the greatest!
Maj, thank you for introducing me to Celtic Thunder. I was already a fan of Celtic Women, but I didn’t know about this group. I so love Irish music. Nothing more beautiful than an Irish Tenor. I just went through every one of their videos on YouTube.
I just took the bread out of the oven....WOW! does this house smell good!
Thank you, Yorkie, and my husband is drooling just smelling it. It baked up nice and high and looks really moist. (I also mashed the bananas.)
You know he’ll get the end piece. I’ve never had an end piece of anything in 52 years, but he’s worth it. ;)
Oh, and besides that it’s a cinch to make too.
About the flowers,..ours are all yellow, even the big Hybrid Lilys. The Irises are all purple and white. I have a Pan pic somewhere of most of them in bloom. I’ll look for it and see if it can be sized and compressed good enough for posting. ;)
I’m still playing with these sites.
Meg has used them for awhile. I practiced on a couple of graphics and they worked mostly very well. On one, I could not get it to reduce; it was huge to begin with.
If you would like to post a couple of examples, that would be great.
Thank you. I want the Amy’s Place experience to be a good one for everbody.
PS: On the one prior to reducing, please don’t use one with 400,000 bytes. * smile *

It doesn’t look bad Amy, but I couldn’t make them this size and those KB’s if I ever wanted to print them. They’ll do ok for here I think.
Oh, just a thought,..when I find a graphic that is too big for even me and it is either slow coming in or doesn’t want to at all, I just hit the X button on the address line top left and it stops that one pic from loading. I have used that many times on threads.
This link (which I can't activate) will take you to the Ashland, Ky newspaper and the audio slide show. The article about the place is under "Living History." I was one of the actors. I sat on the porch of the Benjamin Ulen cabin and welcomed "Land Grant settlers" to ole Kantuck. Mama Bear will soon tell you about Caty (Catherine) Ulen. She met her on her trip to WV. I think you can just highlight the URL and put it in your space at the top. LOL. Can you tell how computer ignorant I am?
