It is terrible..The residents who evacuated are being allowed back in for the first time..I saw the traffic jam on Fox..There is only one way in.
Good Morning MEG33 and all!! What a adorable bunny and kitten, Meg!
I love this time of the year.... FALL is so beautiful.
Going to go back and see if I can do a “ catch-up” here at “AMY’s PLACE” today...
Waving from my laptop....

For 41 years, New Yorks Empire State Building enjoyed the distinction of being the worlds tallest building at 1,250 feet. Since then, others have passed it, including the 1,483-foot Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the 1,670-foot Taipei 101 building. The 2,657-foot Burj in Dubai to be completed in late 2008 will surpass those by far.
From ancient times, man has tried to distinguish himself through monuments of all kinds. It is still the dream of many today.
The writer to the Hebrews presents a better way to achieve significance. He noted that heroes of the faith never lost sight of the fact that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth (Heb. 11:13). As a result, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them (v.16).
It is a fact of life that every monumental work will likely be surpassed. Even mans biggest successes are fleeting. Our best efforts can bring only temporary honor, which all too soon will be eclipsed by the new and greater achievements of others. But those who invest their efforts in living to please God have a lasting city and an everlasting honor to look forward to. God is even now preparing these for them.
Who is building your life? You or God?
I love those kitties..Haven’t seen that one!
;o)
That kitten looks a lot like mine..She managed to” make bread” on my hip..climb up and lick my face. generally destroy my plan of getting to sleep at a normal time..
She settled in my lap when I sat up..innocent. Kittens survive because they are so darn cute.
Hello Pollywog, so good to see ya this morning. Waving back at ya!
I happened to think of them when I saw your darling “Indian cats” yesterday!
I laughed when you talked about “making bread on your hip”. When I kept my son’s cat those times before she died, she absolutely ‘kneaded” me to death. Aren’t they so precious though?
Wonderful Daily Bread message this morning, Mr. Mayor. Thank you so much for posting the “word” each day for us. Think I missed it yesterday for some reason.
They are indeed, jaycee.
That is beautiful, Cardhu.
Thank you so much. We’ve missed you.
There’s that precious pup we love!
Good morning, Ladies.
I’ll be back with the holiday celebrations after getting Marissa to school.
Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday.
LOL! It would get very busy with the whole sentence spelled out with those cute li'l critters. Try using JUST the first letter with an alphabet critter, and then do the rest of the word in colored text - using the font face "Comic Sans Ms" and a font size of "5", and make the rest of the letters in "bold", like this:
ee how this looks?
<img src="http://d21c.com/billie/Critters/CritterAlphabetS.gif"> <font face="comic sans ms" size=5 color=purple><b>ee how this looks?</b></font>
By turning OFF the bold, and the font color, face, & size at the end of that sentence, this paragraph is back to the default text.
