Well, at least you admit you’re drunk. I was talking to a couple of friends this evening and was surprised to find they were depressed over McCain’s choice. After talking to them for a few minutes, I realized they had never heard of Palin, and were rooting for Romney mostly because they recognized his name. I think conservatives will be very pleased with Palin once they learn about her.

As far as the Hillary supporters voting for McCain just because there’s a woman on the ticket, it doesn’t surprise me at all. A lot of these “feminists” will vote for a woman just because she’s a woman, no matter what her positions.

As for RAT talking points, I laughed out loud watching CNN this evening when one reporter tried to call Palin “unqualified” without mentioning Obama’s total lack of qualifications. Mort Kondrake made an ass of himself (as usual) on FOX attacking Palin with these RAT talking points. The other panelists were laughing in his face.

Anti-talking points:
  1. So a woman can't have an independent opinion? She must march lockstep with the Far Left to be considered a "Woman"?
  2. She's got executive experience. She's actually run something.
  3. Alaska is at the heart of the energy independence movement.
  4. Still stuck on race, huh? Grow up.
  5. Huh?
  6. The investigation is political blowback for fighting corruption.
  7. So the Dems think a woman's place is in the home, now?

Remember, these are DNC talking points. They need to poll on her weaknesses and see what they can get away with after the RNC.
Religion and abortion are safe bets with their base until they find a photo, a printed story, a video of anything that contradicts any word of what she's said so far and they'll send out any staffer or assistant with an actual set of ovaries to harp on it until election day.

I worked with these people back in the 90’s so I know what they think. They had a scattershot approach to attacking her until about 8:30 tonight and that's when we heard were the points I wrote. It's too late to make the Saturday papers but you will read them from their lackies within the big fishwraps on Sunday and guys like Begala will be weasling them into every sentence on every question like: question- “hey Paul, who do you like in the SuperBowl”. answer- “Well, Palin is too inexperienced in choice because she has kids and because of that I like New England, which is closer to Deleware than Alaska. Biden agrees with that because he's the real choice for women that care about staying home and caring for children.. By the way, Palin eats moose which means she's insensitive to animal right and humans are animals, so what does that tell you? She's too young to be VP and she's corrupt because she's being investigated. Unlike Bill, who was railroaded.”

I have a bet with my wife about this.

There is genuine anger on the Left at the way Clinton was treated by Obama. This is a chance for conservatives to get the ear of lefties and begin to convert them. The “Reagan Democrats” weren’t simply a pheomenon of nature. In fact, they were “nurtured” to life by a concerted effort that in some cases occured on a house-by-house basis. I was involved in it back then, and it worked.

This is it, people. This is the first opening conservatives have had in a LONG time. It’s hard to believe that McCain created it for us but he did. Sarah Palin is our de facto leader now. There’s no point in arguing anymore—”I like Mitt, you life Fred, he likes Duncan, blah blah blah.” Skip it. Paliin is at least 80 percent of what we need and the other 20 percent should be easy.

I am proud that McCain chose a strong, conservative woman for VP.

Strong and tough, but feminine too (a beauty queen, for example.) A good combination. Too many liberal womn miss the last part.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS:

“I am confident I will get her votes if I’m the nominee. It’s not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee.” — Barack Obama, February 1, 2008

Well, today I am euphoric, but undoubtedly a President McCain will frequently make me feel sick. I can imagine him giving Hillary a shot at HillaryCare. Palin will have nothing to say about it -- Veeps have little power.

That is the problem. Palin might be a real conservative, but it does us little good unless McCain drops dead in Feb '09. He can do a lot of damage that might ruin her chances in '12.

This is great. We should welcome all of the frustrated Hillary women over to the Republican side of the aisle.

And after they settle in, they might find that they are interested in what Republicans have to say about the issues of the day.

Thank you John McCain!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John McCain

I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing the bravest, brilliant, graceful and beautiful Governor of Alaska as your VP. I am moved with tears of joy. Today, I along with all other Hillary supporters are proud to support McCain-Palin ticket.

We were ashamed to see how DNC disgraced our hero Hillary and us. We were just sad, and here you're who proved to us that you're real maverick and you are true liberal in the sense that you gave an equal opportunity to a refined lady to be our VP , where as democratics faking as liberal really proved themselves as sexists against Hillary.

Yes, today dems are campaign panic....they say that Palin is inexperienced..LOL.....McCain's brilliant choice got'em in their own trap.

And yes....it is true what goes around that comes around......

Look who's talking? Palin is much more experienced than Obama....

Palin is not an arrogant celebrity like Obama , she is from a blue collar middle class family with humble background who we can relate to.

Sarah certainly looks good, but I’m going to wait until Oprah tells me whether I should vote for race or sex.

I've got to say that until I saw this forum, and then was directed to others via this site, I had no idea how angry some of these PUMA's are. They are not ideologues..they truly believed Hillary was the best candidate and are genuinely upset with how she was treated. They seem level headed and they LOVE Sarah. I was surprised. Anyway, here is one of my favorite taglines from the forum:

No, no, no....Not God Bless the DNC. God Damn the DNC.

What are you smoking? IF invited, Palin WILL go on Oprah’s show. She’d be a fool if she didn’t.
