I see the potential for a Dan Quayle redux with a newbie like Palin. McCain shouldn’t take that chance.

” Palin gets my vote. It would be a bold move for VP choice. She’s young, female, conservative, and energized. She will capture many of the votes that McCain wouldn’t otherwise get. “

As much as I dislike McC , I have decided that I will vote for him IF he chooses Palin , for all the reasons you mentioned .

I agree with you about Palin. Two white guys on the ballot is old school. Republicans need to be first in line to have a female in the White House.

And...if its Sarah Palin, we can qualify allllll of this 'pre' stuff as 'BS' (Before Sarah). (A reference to another post, on another thread...taking a verbal swipe at 'the Messiah'). LOL...

My point...

Women, I believe, want to see the stereotype broken. Palin is a mom of 5, has a child with Down’s, is rock bottom conservative, and can dish it out or she would not be a Governor. Remember when Kerry was asked the cost of bread and had no idea. Bet Palin knows!

I hope logic prevails here. The “dad and daughter” laugh lines will be done to death, but Barry introduced Biden as “the next President.” Hmmmmmmm.

Why no women on your ballot? Pretending to be a Democrat?

I like Palin too. Her’s is more like my family, I think she can deliver the soccer-moms that elected Bill twice.

I'd love to see McCain announce VP Choice... Tomorrow ... DURING Nobama's Speech... would LOVE TO SEE CNN and Fox pull away to cover such "BREAKING NEWS"

“Palin is a mom of 5, has a child with Down’s”

Isn’t the Down’s child an infant? If so, I don’t think it would look too good for her to be traveling all over the country for the position of State funeral attender (err, I mean VP) when she could be much closer to home with her child. Just sayin...

They would never, ever, ever, in a million, gazillion years, break away from the Messiah at the Temple of Doom.

The Yellowstone Caldra could blow, and it would only merit a CNN crawl...

I think she epitomizes America in general. Yes, she has issues in her life...like we all do....somehow she manages to get things done, run a state and does in in heels! LOL!

I think some conservatives are forgetting that with someone like Palin, we are trying to capture the CONSERVATIVE vote....not just scratching for the 'disenfranchised' liberal vote. I cannot tell you how many conservatives I know who are planning on NOT voting because they are disgusted. Let's bring in someone like Palin and get the 'No Way Im Voting For McCain' voters plus the hard core conservatives who will be voting for McCain anyway.
