I get quite cold here, so I’m always looking for something warm. I’ve knitted a “bomber jacket” for my trip to Little Rock (providing I get to go) but I have yet to put it together. I suspect it will be quite warm for me, if I can find a suitable lining for it.
The winds are always cold. The way the mountains run here, most winds in the winter come from the north, then blow around the valley for a week before moving on. One winter, we had a wind chill of 10 degrees.
*Brrrrr*

We get some serious cold snaps here, too, but usually a sweatshirt in the house is warm enough.

If it helps any, I was the same way with clothes at that age too, especially in summer. Of course, when I was 14 I still wore clothes that fit when I was 12, but that’s another story entirely.

I try to keep more on than most people. If I get too cold, I get stupid. Well, moreso than normal, anyway!
In the winter, I’m usually always in sweat shirts and thick socks. When I have to dress up, like for church, I freeze!

If your kids summer clothes are not worn out by the end of summer it is a sign of two possible scenarios:
1. You waste to much on your kids clothes.
2. Your kids are boring and don’t do much.
While there might be other possible reason they don’t support what I am saying so I will ignore them for THIS post.
What dose this type of reasoning remind you of.?

I hit my head on the bedpost while looking under the bed. Bagpipes did not cause the headache. I am not sure which is rarer a real bugler (not a trumpet player) or bagpiper, piper?
I am no sure when I meant to Post this but I just found it while I was cleaning up all the extra windows I have open.

I was 694 at work for several years, but my company sold me an now I am just another number. It was kinda like having a low Freeper number. I never before worked for a company old or big enough to have a number with more than two digits (23 was the largest). Now I'm almost 300,000.

Ouch.
These days I think real buglers are the rarity. There is no shortage of pipers in North America.

I still have a pair of boots that I’d had for over 3 years before I met LoM.

"There is no shortage of pipers in North America." Well, yeah, as long as you count Alaska in there.

This measure only works for kids. Kids don’t have 500 pairs of shoes in their closes in assorted color style and season like normal women do. Kids wear their shoes every day. If they are not worn out by end of summer they kidding around enough.

There were times in the summer though, where we didn’t even wear shoes.
