It has a bluebird, too! Thank you , Billie, for this darling graphic and for hostessing today..Sweet Dreams Thanks, Meg. Know I haven't spent much time on FR lately, so I needed to reconnect. I did promise Amy we'd all take good care of her baby while she was gone, and I want to do my part. I think everyone surely knows how much time Amy puts into making this a fun and interesting place to hang out. Don't think there are many threads where everyone can share neat graphics with almost every post. :)

Ohhhhhh, this is darling, and I am soooooooooo saving that mp3! I LOVE Louie Armstrong!
Have just revisited Missouri via your link - doesn't seem it was over 4 years ago that you posted that beautiful state profile. Such fun I read every comment again!

Thanks, Billie. I had a really hard time finding am mp3 of Louis Armstrong singing Lazy River that wasn't HUGE....like 7 megs. I know that is way too large to expect anyone with dial-up to have the patience to download. I finally found one that was around 3 megs. Quite a bit smaller and more dial-up friendly.
I wish today was going to be a lazy day for me, but it isn't. We are laying indoor-outdoor carpeting on my mom's patio today and moving all the furniture off of it and prepping it is going to take most of the day, I'm afraid. This was to be her birthday gift, but she passed away before we were able to get it installed. She loved her private patio and spent a lot of time out there. She had wanted it carpeted for a long time. It makes me sad that we didn't get it installed for her. I did get her bedroom painted, at least she did get to enjoy that for a short time.

Morning, Dolly - good to see you when I checked in this morning. :) I hope that things will go well with your mom's 'homecoming'.
I get very tired of the Olympics after two or three days and look for anything else to watch when we turn on the tv. Really prefer Winter Olympics to Summer. My favorite is ice skating. Though I enjoy most of the gymnastics - just not the balance beam.
Have a great Sunday, dolly.

It was a worthwhile place to visit. I sold my camera while I was there to get enough money to buy a tailor-made suit so I didn’t get any pictures of the gardens but touring them was a nice afternoon.

I took the coordinates listed for the camera that took that picture and put them into Google Earth. Very interesting with the 3D effects for the mountains. There appears to be a road on the north side of the lake.
I would like to visit that place.

Hi, Lori - looks like everyone was doing the "lazy day" thing today. I think Sundays are usually pretty quiet though.
Did you and JK get the carpeting down on the patio? I bet it looks nice and your mom is smiling her approval. I'd think it would be a good place for you to sit when you need some real quiet time.
Hugs, sistah.

What a beautiful flower! And Missouri is its name. :) I saw you had gone back to check out the thread again, too. Bittersweet seeing posts from some who are no longer with us though.
