Outstanding, Cardhu! The flowers were more beautiful with Mozart!

Water stands on it until I wipe it up.

That's good to know. Could I ask what brand you have?

Ya know, you couldn’t stay in a bad humor after listening to that song, could you?

fewz, I have no idea what the brand is. We actually got it from an overstock place and it was “cheap”.

I love the shot in the lower right: making a face rather than saying "Cheese."

To be honest, I never really liked the Beatles. I guess I was too old by the time they came along. But, the song seemed to fit what I was looking for and I know that some younger people did like the Beatles.

Collage by Roy Mayes. I had to post the whole thing to get the girl in the middle. That is my favorite picture that he has made.

I was a little past their time too but I like some of their music. Not all of it, but some!

Pigeon Point Lighthouse

This is a image of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse when the main Fresnel lens is lit. Pigeon Point Lighthouse sits on a cliff above the California coast 50 or so miles south of San Francisco. The lighthouse is 115 ft tall. Most people, including myself think this lighthouse had one main beam. Not so, Pigeon Point Lighthouse has 24 beams when lit as she was originally designed to be. The lighthouse beams spread out in a starburst pattern around the lighthouse as the main lens rotates. The Pigeon Point Lighthouse is named after a clipper ship that ran aground and sank on the nearby reef that sits just under the water level named the Carrier Pigeon on her maiden voyage. Pigeon Point Lighthouse is in desperate need of funds. Please visit the Pigeon Point Lighthouse to make a contribution to its restoration. There is no other lighthouse on the California Coast nearly as beautiful as Pigeon Point. I hope you enjoy my shot of this historic lighthouse. Darvin Atkeson
