You can create a table with a border=1. There is an HTML tag that creates a box, but I don't recall it offhand. I think it might not be supported by some browsers. The link to the w3 school should have it.

<tr><td> This is the text you want to enclose in the box.<br>
I put the break tag there to start a new line.</td></tr>

Thanks, I know you’re trying to help but I have the code where I just copy and paste and zip it off.

Have had good replies. Not going to fool with it more unless I put it on a webpage and link it.

If I want to add a link in the middle of a sentence :http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=2024261%2C97 how do I get it to end and yet continue typing the sentence?

Clearly- I am an html newbie...but every time I add a hyperlink I’m unable to turn it OFF.
