Did you find more kittehs?
No - if she has a litter, it’s not in the barn. They’re somewhere else.
I didn’t think she looks as bagged up anymore, so maybe she’s not nursing now after all. I don’t know, I couldn’t really look. If it turns out she doesn’t appear to be currently nursing I’ll keep her several days like the other one for aftercare. If she is currently nursing, I’ll turn her loose today.
Well, I’m back!
Could one of you just go ahead and shoot me?
Jr’s car broke down again yesterday (and the tow-truck driver with major butt-crack issues is a different story). But the car blew the head gasket. It’s not worth it to try to repair.
Ya got that right. One of the many words it does NOT have in it’s default spellcheck dictionary.... EMAIL!!!! It did not know freaking EMAIL. Or internet for that matter.
Somewhere there are programers that need a beating.
What is he still doing there and how is this your problem?
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to talk to him this week and pass on congratulations and all.
I’m just so durned happy for him. They’re a very good match, I think.
Now if the youngest bother would just shape up and grow up and such. :-\
*snif*
That's just beautiful.
Elf bash!
Aw, geez. Sorry about old Harry dog, Jen.
My brother’s Golden was about the same age when he passed away. We came downstairs one morning and found him asleep in his favorite spot - only he wasn’t asleep. :-\ In some ways, it was much easier that way, but we never really knew the exact cause.
Hey there! Wondered how you’d been!
She didn’t learn much from her last trapping session, did she? ;-)
Well, I’ve been feeding her in the trap again since then. I started her over again, with it just inside the doorway and pushing it back further each night.
You know Matthew worked so hard to raise money for his choir trip, but we decided he was too young to go. It was nine days away from home and he's only 12! It was too bad because he raised more money than anyone and actually had 60 bucks more than he needed to pay for his entire trip!
So, we went with! Heh heh!! I spoke to the choir director and assured him I wouldn't get in an authority struggle with him (something that apparently happened in the past when parents went along.) He stressed he needed complete authority because Matthew would be going into detention centers for troubled youth to perform.
I agreed and he agreed to let Matthew stay in the room with us at night.
Matthew had to do everything just like everyone else...get his spending money from his sponser, lug his own luggage...he road on the bus with everyone else. All he did was go to bed in the rooms with us (and I made sure his shirts were ironed...so sue me. Heh heh!)
We even got the group discount on the rooms...which helped a lot. We ate out once. At Casa Bonita in Denver.
Here's some pictures! That's Matthew's choir down there singing...he's in the front, on the right end, by the drums.
Nice! Sounds like yall had fun :-D
Got our chicks! Twenty-two of them!
These are the chicks that are part of the Tyson-sponsored egg-hatching thing.
Did you count them before they were hatched?
No! I was on vacation!
:-)
Vacation? What is that? :\
Oh, what fun! What a good idea for a family vacation, glad it all worked out with the director. I want a vacation after G’nad is done with chemo...we’ll call it AGDC. :-) Maybe next spring.
Our chicks are huge. They’ll be four weeks old on Wednesday...half way to the freezer. Man do they stink. We’ve got them outside in a wire dog run that’s been wired on the top as well. We have tarp over it for the rain, and Gunner gets staked out there at night to keep away the coons. It would take some work for one to get in, but they’re tricksy.
We’ve been watching TV on a little 9” for the last 3 months...this past weekend, that all changed. I took the kids to a swimming tourney, and G’nad stayed here and spent part of tax rebate. He helped the guys from Radio Shack install a 50” Panasonic plasma!!! Boy did we surprise the kids...it’s not often that we get to do that any more. Then we watched National Treasure 2...also a surprise. The kids did great in their races as well, so it was a really good day.
Good luck with your birds. Hey, how are the bunnies?
