Thank you for your sweet greeting, Amy!
I was glad to hear you visited Jim. Are they going to remove the leg for sure now? Isn’t it sad? We need to pray for Jim.
I am having my family tomorrow night for supper. Hope I haven’t told you already. Re: the biscuits! Sister Schuster is making my yeast rolls~~LOL!! Have you tried those? They are so good and smell good cooking!
I don’t think we have Sister Schuster here. If we do, I haven’t noticed them. I will look next time I get to the super market.
I do not know what time Jim is scheduled for surgery but they are planning to amputate his left leg just below the knee sometime tomorrow.
He really doesn’t have much choice .... the poison is going to continue to spread throughout his body.
Yes ... we need to pray.
Loved your cottage pic. The poetry is beautiful. NNB. is truly good!
Just got to see your beautiful picture, Meg. Sometimes things just won’t load for me. My computer needs a good tune-up but my son is working on his new house and with his job and keeping up his other house is a lot on his plate. I don’t expect my kids to drop everything for me. So I am kinda quiet about it. We’ll get it done soon!
Hey, I did tell you. I was checking back to see if I missed anything earlier...it was buried in the back of my mind that I had told you about dinner! LOL~~
Amy, those rolls are in the freezer section where the frozen biscuits are. They are in a round pan in a clear plastic bag with Sister Schubert’s name on the front. I love them! I love all food sometimes!

Sister Schuster yeast rolls are becoming a must for family and Holiday meals..Love them!
My mother in law used to make heavenly cloudlike yeast rolls..Sister ‘s aren’t as mouth watering but they are as close as we can come.
I am once again weather watching. Looks like the the same areas south of me are getting hit that were hard hit last night..So far only thunder rumbles here.
.
I’ve been monitoring the Jim Prayer thread.
I will be so happy when this is behind him.
Thank you, Meg.
A lot of people are praying for Jim and I am more than happy to keep them in the loop.
It was good to see him today and to deliver a couple of hugs. ;^ )
HUGS are good medicine.
Thanks Cardhu, I will try to get to your presentation sometime during the day. Been having some computer problems and things, even pictures are hard to load. My son keeps the computer going for me and he is in the middle of moving, plus his job is very demanding. I am trying to be patient! You have some beautiful presentations!
Great, I’m glad you are familiar with these. Have you tried her cinnamon rolls. My neighbor did and sent me a couple and they are out of this world!
I meant to tell you all yesterday that we were under tornado warnings all day Sunday. I tried to get my son to call off his Mother’s Day cookout but he waited it out until 5:00 instead of the planned 1:00. It was still windy and it played havoc on my yard with those poplar trees. Limbs all over, branches and clumps of leaves. I kept my ears and eyes open and was ready to go to my safe place (I hope)! But it did pass late Sunday evening.
Guess what my neighbor did. He cleaned up my front yard of the heavy limbs and everything else on the ground. I didn’t know it until he had finished. I did speak to him afterwards and told him “I would never be able to repay him” and he said you “you already have”. I had gotten their paper and mail while they were at the beach (easy) and let them put a bag of trash in my container so I wouldn’t have to roll their container to the street! We have always helped each other. Thats the way it should be! Didn’t mean to rattle on so!
When our family went out for an ice cream cone, my dad would ask my mother what flavor shed like. Often she would reply, Surprise me! She told me she was rarely disappointed in his choice.
Do you like surprises? Would you ever dare say, Surprise me! to God? A lot of us are a little scared to do that. Yes, we have faith that God is good and that He loves us. Yet were afraid we wont like what He chooses for us.
Throughout the Bible we read that God delights in doing the unexpected. Sometimes its folding back the waters for His people to cross a sea on dry ground (Ex. 14:21-22). Or forgiving and embracing those who repent of their sin (Ps. 130:1-4). Jesus time on earth was filled with amazing events that pointed people to His FatherHe turned water into wine, calmed storms, healed the sick, and raised the dead.
What kind of God do we serve? One who is not confined by our finite imagination (Eph. 3:20). Gods thoughts and ways are not like ours (Isa. 55:8), and He wants to bless us with far more than a special flavor of ice cream. He delights in His children who trust Him and are willing to say, Surprise me, Lord!
Oh, yes. I have had the cinnamon rolls..They are wonderful, too.
I am so glad you have such a close neighbor. That was a loving act.
These storms have been fierce in some areas around me.. no tornado warnings exactly where I live but close..and very
damaging winds for several days south of me..I am so grateful to have had no damaging storms.
PS My computer suddenly started showing all the graphics again..Hope it lasts!
Very cute, Amy! Good Morning!
Good morning, Jaycee.
Good to see you this morning.
I must apologize to everyone ... I will be away again for much of the afternoon.
Marissa’s teacher called and asked me to man the PTA concession booth at 2:00 this afternoon.
