BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES
1 (3 3/8 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding and pie filling
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Grease 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
In medium bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, combine pudding mix, flour, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, baking powder, salt. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in nuts.
Bake and let cool in pan. Makes 12 brownies.
In addition to being Lost Sock Day,
it is also "National Butterscotch Brownie Day."
Happy Butterscotch Brownie Day!

Amy, what are you doing??? You are killing my diet! First Coconut Cream Pie and now Butterscotch Brownies. Two of my favorite things! I am gaining weight just looking at them. :-(
Actually, I might try the butterscotch brownie recipe. It really does look good and easy too.

Hi MB. I e-mailed a “sock” game to you, so you can link it here. I sent it to Amy, but she’s having e-mail problems. It’s a cute game and Em loves to play it.

Coconut cream pie and blonde brownies?! Oh wait—you said butterscotch! I’ll take either one!
Where do lost socks go?
Tomorrow should see it winding down and I’ll have more time to yak!
Y’all have a great Mother’s Day!
To: Mama_Bear
Keep checking. It hasn’t been long since I sent it and sometimes it takes awhile to go across country.

I always worry about this too. One time last spring, my daughter was in the front yard. A car going by, slowed down a bit, was beeping and waving. Driver didn’t see me right away. We didn’t know this person. Made me very nervous to say the least.
I shouldn’t have taken that nap. It just made me groggy. ;)

Thanks! I’ve missed you guys, too, but there’s only one of me. sigh. This time of year I could use a dozen or so!

Marissa’s father has not seen her since she was an infant. It was quite upsetting when this man called telling me he was her grandfather.
He said he wanted to get to know her so she would feel comfortable going someplace with him. I told him she was not leaving my place without a court order. I bluffed him a little ... told him I had guardianship over her. Her Mom did sign papers that I was authorized to make all medical and legal decisions.
For almost a year after he stopped calling, I worried everytime a strange car drove by kinda slow.
I think he decided it wasn’t worth the fight he would get from me.
