Nope. Just point of view. Looking north, paradox. Looking south, no paradox. *\;-)
BTW, When you say you're headed out to the cowpatties, I didn't realize until now you were an IT guy.

Where do you find this data?
I did it simply by 'brute force' - I changed the URL to point to the various post numbers and read what date they were posted on. i.e. I tried http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2000000/posts http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1800000/posts http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1600000/posts
If a particular post was pulled I would check a nearby post (+1, +2,etc) The number scheme doesn't go back to the very beginning though.

I have a distinctly North orientation. I guess you have a South one. They should make upside down maps for those like yourself.

Evening, all! Vlad decided to go in the water today, in addition to digging.
I observed that things have changed at the beach since I was a teenager, (at least) 25 years ago. I used to go to the beach at a Navy base, and college ROTC cadets would come down to train for the summer and hang out at the beach. Very fit young men :-). Anyway, they had their bathing suits *all the way on*, which isn’t the custom these days.
No matter how fit and tan a young man is, one can’t admire him if his butt’s hanging out making you think about diaper changing!

LOL! I have not been to the beach since 2001, and don’t really swim anymore(too out of shape.)

"I have a distinctly North orientation. I guess you have a South one. They should make upside down maps for those like yourself." I did that once, with a map of Australia. (Because they're just like us, once you turn 'em downside up.)
And I might as well apologize here for my mistake about Queensland. If I put that poem in a book I'll correct the wording.

I think of it as either a Canadian perspective or a Mexican perspective of the USA, Which would you choose?
To: ThomasThomas
The one centered on Washington (state)... where the Mississippi River is just on this side of the horizon looking (hands over eyes) East?
I think NnBob will have a different view.
But whatever, I think I'm likely be gone for the night. Maybe tomorrow I'll do something useful at work.

My computer was down yesterday, so I apologize for being out of line off line.
Rottie, Reno, NV is farther west than LA is. And Puget Sound is farther west than Reno. Just so you know.... ;o])

Colorado's lowest elevation is 3315ft with a mean elevation of 6800ft. Would this make it the highest state in the nation?
Is this why the dems or having their convention there?
