That is a good show.

I like myth busters sometimes, too.

LoM mows the lawn?

You better get her some golf shoes so she doesn’t slip.

I only watch Myth-Busters for comic relief!

There are so many interesting shows on these days, that it’s difficult to decide what to watch.

During my allergy season she does. It’s a small yard, but I’d keel over sneezing before it’s half-done. Fortunately it’s only a few weeks.

FINALLY got the cellphone’s phonebook sorted out. Not that there are many entries in it (sigh), but at least they’re all on the SIM card and not in the phone’s “contacts.”

QUERY: If I “reset” the computer to last week, then ran the program according to your latest directions, could I possibly retrieve the data I lost?

I get to play with bricks plant a few new plants to replace the ones plummeted in the hail storm tornado and dig a hole for my pond and had breakfast with my parents.

WHOA! Sensory overload!

I looked at Mt. Charleston and all its snow and decided I’m happy I’m on the valley floor.

No BBQ for me, and no friends or relatives. Just my Online Family, which includes YOU!

Um. You mean to set the time? Not necessary. Here's what you do:

1. Download the file from the website, but NOT to the drive you had the document on (probably C:). To a floppy or a "USB drive" if you have one.

2. Start up Windows Explorer and go to the drive to which you downloaded this.

3. Click on REST2514.exe.

4. It will ask Extract to: "[your drive]\Restoration" -- just click on Ok. (Odd. It installed to ...\REST2514 -- oh well.)

5. Go to the directory just created. You will see the files DLL16.DLL, DLL32.DLL and Restoration.exe.

6. Double-click on Restoration.exe to run it.

7. A window should come up saying "Restoration Version 2.5.14"

8. On the right-hand side select the drive that has the file you want.

9. Enter in at least part of the name of the file you lost.

10. Click on "Search Deleted Files."

11. Look through the list for the one you want and highlight it.

12. Click on "Restore by Copying."

13. It will pop up a "Save As..." window, probably defaulting to the drive where you installed Restoration. If the file will fit, click Save. If it won't (this may be risker) you will probably have to elect the drive it's on and click Save.

14. Open up the restored file and see if it's okay.

I'll be around a bit if you want to try this.

I thought maybe if I restored it to earlier in the week (before Thursday) I could retrieve the file.

But I’ll do exactly what you have written. I even printed it out!

Give me a while, and I’ll see what luck I have.

Started out nice and sunny...then heavily overcast almost to the point of rain, and now the sun is breaking through again.
