Good morning, Undead Friends! A beautful, sunny day in Myrtle Beach, and the cold northeast wind has stopped, so it will be pleasant on our oceanfront porch this afternoon.
Several children got sunburned yesterday, but only one is my fault. James wandered off partway through getting sunscreen on his back; he’ll have to wear a shirt today.
I hope you all have a terrific Memorial Day. I need to get the boys out to the sand!

55F, overcast, maybe some rain coming... and the lineup at the Folklife Festival is so slim today we’re staying home.

LOL, Libertina! We had a good time Saturday, but that looks like the only day for us this year. Maybe next year there will be more to our liking.

*lurk-lurk*
I’ve got the slows today for some reason. It started out to be a pretty day, but there is more rain in the forecast for the afternoon. *sigh*
Here it is, almost June, and we had 6” of snow on Mt. Charleston from this last storm.

Hello Lurker.
The environment feels heavy and thick here today too.
Perhaps the Madrid Fault is about to give.
I’ll watch the dog for hints.

See?
Are you having a “cookout” today? I went to the PO and the store at 7:00 and was home by 7:23.
My truck will turn over 280280 miles the next time I leave the parking lot! All the ugly dust was rained off of it, but it still needs to be detailed.
No cookout for me. I’ll just stay in where the wind doesn’t blow.

I just can’t seem to get started. I’m not even hungry, which is not a good sign. It means something else is going on, and it’s probably not good.
But I plan on being in bed early today (in a few hours) so it won’t matter, much. But it’s a good place to spend a day.

I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. As I say, it feels heavy here too.
Have you ever seen the first “back to the future”?
Doc asks Marty:
Heavy, why is everything so heavy in the future?
And, OK wise guy, who is the President in 1986?
Marty answers “Ronald Reagan”
Doc, Screams “Ronald Reagan the actor? You are mad!”
LOL!

Thanks! All kinds of war movies on TV today. I watched a couple of them, but towards the end of the second one, I realized how depressed I was getting. So now I’m watching, “How It’s Made.” Pretty good stuff!
And they are having a marathon today. Lucky me....

I wouldn’t mind having the first “Back to the Future” movie, but the other two just didn’t quite measure up, IMHO.
It was an excellent movie for a LOT of reasons! Including Christopher Lloyd!

Probably. We assembled a new BBQ a few weeks ago and fired it up the first time Saturday. The weather looks like it will be okay -- there's rain in the area but it's hardly moving.
LoM just went out to mow the lawn while I hide out inside (it's my allergy season right now). Most of my projects are done now, now setting up some utilities on the cellphone and getting its phonebook straightened out.
