I cut my long hair too in March, just so it would be easier to manage, and it hasn’t grown much since then. I don’t get out much either, except for one trip today.

Sorry, Darks. That sounds miserable.

Working third shift tends to keep me from seeing daylight too often, except if I am lucky and see the sunrise at the end of my shift.
(Or a certain coworker says that her tummy hurts.. and doesn’t show.)

The roses will live, but it will be harder and more of a shock to them if we have to transplant them next Thursday instead.
But, it happens.

So happens diamond is also a great substrate for ICs. Low capacitance, low leakage, so your circuits run faster with less power.
And with a diamond layer on the business face, Blu-Ray DVDs will be far less delicate.

Oh I know, I lost my tan too. I look awfully pale for living down here, although that's more due to my physical health(being stuck inside doesn't help either.)

I haven’t tanned well since I had Mono in 1997.
I’ve burned like a vampire, and need SPF 50 or higher before heading outside.

Id invite you down to FL, but you might melt in the sunlight. We got massive doses of that today, along with miserable heat. It's 80F now.
So after work I went and saw a movie LoM said I'd enjoy a lot, "Iron Man." I'm a little gunshy now about recommending movies, but I was quite entertained. Simple plot, a little suspense, lots of laughs -- some built on elements of other movies, and it was rather typical of many boys' SF movies... but I was entertained. She was right.

11 years? That long? (This from someone like me, who hasn’t had a clean bill of health in 15 years) That must have been some really bad mono. I only have SPF 20 here, unscented of course.

It did quite a number on me.
I went from weighing in at 130, to being lucky to top 105 in less than a week and a half.
Had a red raised itchy rash with it as well.
So at first the docs all thought I had Lyme.
Afterwards I was hypoglycemic for awhile.
Stomped me good.
Haven’t been able to tan since, an odd memento of the experience.

I didn't know mono did that to one. Ugh.
But I keep SPF 80 here. Forgot to pack it for the trip to the CA wine country last week, but then again it was mostly spent in hotel meeting rooms. And the winery tour... well, my aversion to direct sunlight helped. *\;-)

I didn’t know it could until after it had stomped me flat.
The rash isn’t listed as being common either, so it isn’t likely to be a common reaction.
Started out with my blood pressure taking a sudden dive, and me passing out.
That was the first indicator that anything was wrong.
(Falling over backwards in front of my stepdaughter and sliding on my butt on the floor while pale as a ghost was another indicator, everyone thought I’d had a heart attack.)

130? Yikes, I look like a scarecrow if I get under 150. I’ve had the hypoglycemia problem for a while so I have to watch what I eat.

Well, you are undead after all. I've never seen anything higher than SPF 50 in the store.

I’m only 5’5”, over 130, and I look like more than a few South Park characters.
But, I can’t get back above 110.

I’m just barely 5’7” with shoes on(blame genetics for that)
and I try to stay within the 150s, anything more is South Park-ish, anything less and I’d be too thin.

Well, you are undead after all. I've never seen anything higher than SPF 50 in the store. Ah, but I live in Seattle. And some of us at times are forced to travel to less troglodyte-friendly lands.
I'm minded of a couple from our church who went on a three-year mission to Africa (Burkina Faso). They had to stock up heavily on sunscreen because they couldn't even buy it there.
