We all have our own marks on history.

Ja, I placed my Marks on history... and they switched to Euros!

$28 per girl for the summer. In September, we start over. At the skating rink, we were talking about pottery painting, Build-a-Bear, a wildlife ranch, and other options, but I emailed everyone when I got some and did the math, so I’m sure we’ll get more suggestions.

Maybe they’d like a swimming party. We have plenty of money to pay guest fees at a pool where any family is a member for the summer.

Alas, we'll have to wait for her to turn up next time.

"It's 'Face's birthday ping!"

Ack! 'Face, say it ain't so!

On top of everything else, too. Sometimes it's just more than a mortal body can bear.

Hang in there, 'Face. There will be a brighter tomorrow. Maybe even some leftover cake.

I'm guessing that Monkey Face, along with LoM's relatives & friends, will leave behind enough Birthday Cake such as will not only choke existing landfills but sequester huge amounts of CO2 forever.

Sequestering CO2 is not the proper goal. What we want to do is sequester carbon, and lots of it.

Now if we turned it into coal again, someone would just burn it. No gain at all.

Women have the right idea. We should turn the carbon into diamonds. Lots and lots of diamonds. Big tumblers and coffee cups made of diamond. Dinner plates and bird feeders.

Headboards for beds and footboards too. Diamond shoehorns for diamond slippers.

And then, when every woman in the world has all the diamonds she can possibly use, we won't have to worry about global warming anymore.

.

We can go back to worrying about overpopulation.

Thanks for the ping, yes I’ve been praying along with many for Jim’s health and strength through this. Reminds me of the book I just read “90 Minutes in Heaven” which was amazing - but the most striking was the author’s ability to survive his suffering and even use it to help others.
