FlightAware says LoM is a minute from touching down. Should be getting a call soon.

Not all the movies they show today are teen movies. Sometimes I really wonder about the choices.
Then there was "The Terminal" (the guy stuck living in an airport) -- what were they thinking???

I could see that. The next time I fly, I'll have to remember to ask if anyone aboard can speak jive.

if any sucka abo'd kin rap JIBE. Oh boy. One of my sailing outings in college... I learned why they call it a "boom" -- that's the sound your skull makes when rapped during a jibe.

Flannel? It was easily in the high 80s today. Good thing I wore my vest instead of my full jacket. Got some serious cross winds on the ride out to RNC. Looooooooong day today.

I like the cut of your jibe, Sion.
No, wait--that's 'jib,' which has nothing to do with being a sucka, turkey, and/or Barbara Billingsley.

Yah, well, I didn't like the cut of the jibe. Bloody mess, it was. *\;-)
(But I learned to duck & cover whenever the boom came over. *\;-)
OTOH, lots of fun in college sailing class. I bet very few people have ever seen their centerboard rise out of the water... and go back in without taking on any water.

I remember sailing in college. To get in the real boats you had to take a class in the sabots.
One day while we out one the bay the wind died. Irons! Because it had a side board I was able to take it off and use it to paddle back to dock.
