That’s a good CD. Yep, Patsy left us way too soon. I wasn’t brought up appreciating country music so only became aware of her later, after she was gone.

And I also don’t know how you can get that e-mail thingy to post. I tried doing it myself once and the link didn’t work for others, but Mama Bear knew how to fix it. So, I guess we’ll wait for her...:)

Set a Spell

Come join us here at Amy’s Place, I’m sure we can find room.
Don’t worry that disturbing us will somehow seal your doom.
We always welcome visitors. We’re glad to see you come,
And curiosity compels us to inquire where you’re from.

Some come here seeking wisdom. That makes our doggy laugh!
Companionship, I think you’ll find, is much the better half.
You can find poems everywhere, (at least I think I can,)
But friendliness is lots more fun, and much the better plan.

So pop on in, and share with us, a friendly word or two,
We’ll look around and try to find a cozy spot for you.
And all in all I think you’ll see, we’ll try to get things right.
So come on in and set a spell, you’ll find that we don’t bite.

I'm posting a little early.
I have a dentist appt at 9:00. I'll be leaving as soon as I get Marissa to school.

Tomorrow the dentist is going to pull the root that was left when I broke my tooth last month.

I have a couple of other things to take care of this week.
I will try to take care of some of those tomorrow.

No Bake Cherry Cheesecake

Ingredients:
• Oreo graham cracker crust — pre-made
• 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 pt. whipping cream
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 21-oz. can of Comstock cherries

Combine cream cheese with powdered sugar in a medium sized bowl. Whip whipping cream separately — not too stiff — and add to the cream cheese. Whip this all until creamy and pour into the crust. Then pour the cherries on top — you can use the Light Cherry or No Sugar Added varieties, too. Chill at least 8 hours in the refrigerator.
