Are you or anyone watching America’s Got Talent?

LOL! It’s one of my favorite Simpson’s lines. I don’t remember why, but he said he wanted to transform into a butterfly (”Because no one suspects the butterfly”) to make everyone think Principle Skinner did all sorts of bad things.

See you later! We’ll all have to find a new show to watch together. ;-)

I outright despise detest & loathe Clooney. Feel like slappin’ somebody when they call him “sexy”. I haven’t been able to watch that movie because of him. I cringe when I hear people who think that was actually him on the soundtrack. He is not fit to carry Dan Tyminski’s mandolin strings.

So did I. I think running out is what did him in. Danggit. I bet at the end of the contract period Christina gets shown the door unless she greatly improves. This years chefs were not up to the ones from previous seasons. Michael, Heather & Rock all showed they had potential for fine dining. Not so much this time. Christina’s arrogance may do her in too.

Me too. His politics have ruined movies I used to like. I can't stand to watch Out of Sight or Ocean's Eleven now.

The only movie I can stand him in is O, Brother. Maybe because he is almost like a cartoon character in that movie? It does sort of crack me up that he’s all high and mighty now, because I remember him being on “The Facts of Life” and not even the good Mrs. Garrett FoL, but the crappy Cloris Leechman years. Then he was Booker on Roseanne for a season.

I’ve never even seen any of the Ocean’s movies. I don’t care for Brad Pitt either. Have you ever heard that guy interviewed? He’s a total moron. I can only take him in a couple of movies, Fight Club and Seven. Even Seven is pushing it.

The one that sends me lunging for the remote is Susan Sarandon. She’s just so smug that I want to kick her. Gwenyth Paltrow and her annoying husband are almost there, too. Actually, Chris Martin is already on my kick list, too. Sorry if you guys like Coldplay, but I don’t just want to kick Chris Martin, I want to throw something hard and pointy, like a dictionary, at his head.

I’ll never understand his alleged “greatness”. He’s not talented. He’s not sexy. Although one of his more recent movies Leatherheads was a big stinkeroo. Maybe that’s a good sign.

Speaking of NOT sexy, I agree about Brad Pitt. Never understood that one either.

Long long ago I thought Susan Sarandon was really good. But by the time she & Timmy got up at some award show & DEMANDED that Haitians with AIDS be allowed into the country for free treatment I’d had it. I have compassion for people who are suffering, but why is it these clowns think it’s the American taxpayers responsibility to right the wrongs of the world? If they feel so strongly about it why don’t they “adopt” someone & personally pay for that person’s transportation & treatment? I refuse to watch anything she’s in anymore. I can’t suspend disbelief that far. I don’t see the character. I just see a loudmouth self-righteous hypocritical elitist know it all.

Those same teenagers who made me click on the TMZ clip of the Vern Troyer sex tape, make me go to Perez Hilton and Dlisted about 75 times a day for gossip.

Anywho, word on the street is that Angelina Jolie hates Clooney, too, and that’s why those two (Cloony and Pitt) don’t hang out as much anymore. We just know him from what we see on TV, she actually knows him and doesn’t like him. She gets on my nerves, too, but it makes you wonder how much of a jag he is in real life.

Getting back to Susan Sarandon, I used to like Bull Durham, but I can’t stomach it anymore.

My memory might be going, but, I thought Clooney was on Facts of Life when Mrs. Garret was building the new place and that Clooney was one of the carpenters.

I can’t stand Sarandon. I think the only movie of hers that I saw all the way through was Thelma and Louise.

I know some people think that we shouldn’t let politics interfere with entertainmnet, but, I figure if they can use their celebrity to affect politics then I should be able to allow their politics to affect my entertainment choices.

Hollyweird is so hung up on itself that if one of these libs does well, they think mainstream America supports their views. I don’t like the idea of putting a single dollar into their pockets.

I don't think his running out did him in, that meant people liked his selections and he recovered nicely. Christine had Matt trying t osend out raw fish a couple of times and prevented it from going out. I think her catching those helped, however, she did have a couple of meals get sent back, so, I'm guessing that Ramsey chose to ignore those returned meals of hers.

I looked it up and you are right, he was on during the Mrs. Garrett years.

For some reason, I can separate some entertainment people from their politics and not others. I think it depends on their political/entertaining ratio. If they are more entertaining then they are political, then I can let it go. Like Will Ferrel is a lib, but most of the time he shuts up about it, so I can let it go. Same thing with Tom Hanks.

Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, Whoopi Goldberg, and company do not entertain me more then politicize at me. So they do not get my entertainment dollars.

I had to go look it up, it was bugging me.

Charlotte Rae ... Mrs. Edna Ann Garrett / ... (70 episodes, 1979-1986)

George Clooney ... George Burnett (17 episodes, 1985-1987)

Cloris Leachman ... Beverly Ann Stickle / ... (20 episodes, 1986-1988)

He was on the show with Mrs. Garret for two years and through the tansition.

I'm not a big fan of Clooney either and never understood why he was considered sexy. Maybe they were polling gays... I mean guys. ;)

Eeew, just realized in the preview that polling and gays probably shouldn't be used in the same sentence. :/

Yeah, I’ve done the same with some as far as comparing their entertainment value vs their political preaching. Election years are the worst because they come out from under their rocks in droves.........

Sometimes they just cross you the wrong way. Many years back, Brooke Shields did a commercial about smoking and stuck cigarettes up her nose. I have never watched or rented any of her movies (bad as they are anyway) or watched any show with her in it, to this day.

LOL! I saw him once on the Tonight Show. Leno was talking to him about the special effects in his movie or something. Pitt tried to say something coherent, but trailed off. After a few seconds of awkward silence, he said "Technology rocks!"

Same here. It would be bad enough with just Sarandon. But that movie has her life-partner Tim Robbins in it too. LOL

Politics aside, those two have to be the most arrogant, self-righteous, condescending a-holes in Hollywood.

I can't think of one movie any of them have made that I want to see. Well "Shawshank Redemption"--but that's it :)
