Yeah, gross for the sake of gross doesn’t appeal to me. Not like I’m snobby about my movies or anything. I signed up for Netflix over the weekend and my first 2 movies were Semi-Pro and Walk Hard. LOL

Oh! BTW, Netflix has every episode of MST3K! I may have moved “The Girl With the Golden Boots” up to #1 in my queue. :-)

Have you all noticed the hippy, “Let’s root for everyone!” Olympic commercials on NBC? At first they were just mildly annoying. Then one was on with “Imagine” in the background. Hmmm...fitting that the commie anthem would be played for the Beijing Olympics.

I just sat there staring at the TV with this “WTH?” look on my face.

They showed some girl, they didn’t say what sport she played, but this girl had the biggest neck I’ve ever seen on a women! She was like an NFL player.

Thank you! I'm on my third draft and trying to be a tough editor, too.

I had to basically rewrite the entire thing, because I realized was writing specifically for the Eggheads with bigger words and more flourishes then I would normally use. It didn't sound like me and I didn't like it. I figured that if I don't like it, the Eggheads REALLY won't like it.

I have very little actual work today (seriously, I don't even know why they bother to have anyone come in on Fridays, no one does anything), so I should get a lot of work done on my story. ;-)

I know. I don't get it either. I think people hear the soft piano and the words, "And the world with live as one," think, "Oh, isn't that quaint?" and don't bother to consider the meaning of the rest of the lyrics.

I think you're right and it was terrible. I don't think it is their theme song, or at least not officially, but maybe they are trying to make it so.
