You have horses in your neighborhood?
Who knew?

I have horses in my neighborhood, too, although we’re more likely to hear from the roosters!
Evenin’, boss. How’s the weather up there?

Ohlordy....
This is a desert. Before it was a gambling Mecca, it was horse country.
I’m more comfortable with horses than I am with a lot of people I know.

Some folks have chickens here, and goats, horses, mini-horses, cattle, ducks....
Yah...Life is good when the wind is in the right quarter...

"Evenin, boss. Hows the weather up there?" I just checked. No precipitation in the immediate forecast. (I keep a weather-map link on the bottom of my about page. A few months ago, I added one to the south of me. You can check your weather there too.)
I saw some daffodils today where the tips were just beginning to turn yellow.

"Life is good when the wind is in the right quarter..." At one time, that might have bothered me. But I used to smell better then.

"I always make it a point to stand upwind of noxious things..." Yeah, well he said, "I like to keep the wind at my back ..."
... but he didn't look Irish.

I thought he moved very adroitly as he stepped around me, especially considering that his eyes appeared to be watering.

Good Morning! Supposed to be very gloomy the next few days, with a chance of rain tomorrow. Bummer. I was getting used to the sun again.

It’s kind of gloomy here, too, although that might be the sun starting to show now. Several of the children are poorly, but not truly sick.

I’ve been rather poorly sickly the last couple of days. Just don’t feel well. This morning better though. Just wish we had the weather to match. Supposed to have a chance of rain tomorrow. I wouldn’t mind too much—we still could use plenty of precipitation.
