Good morning, Bob. You wouldn’t be weak and weary if you went to bed earlier!
50’s and a whooping west wind this morning. Looks like the sun will shine on the catz.

Ungh.

I think I’ll never be warm again!

"You wouldnt be weak and weary if you went to bed earlier!" I am aware of that. But I go to bed reluctantly, considering it to be a waste of time. Poe is getting plenty of rest these days, except for around his birthday, when he goes out drinking.
"Looks like the sun will shine on the catz."
Cat, Waiting For The Sunlight
The morning sun is shining bright,
Dust motes down the hall begin to stir.
Cat is sitting patiently, with paws tucked in for warmth,
Waiting for the Sun to start its purr.
Cat knows how to speak the language of the Sun,
She hears the happy thrumming of its voice.
And lying in the sunlight while the music plays,
Unless shes really hungry, is her choice.
Of course the dog disturbs her reveries,
Crowding in to warm like a china bull,
She gives a stare that should melt fur.
Perhaps her batteries are not quite full.
Reluctantly, she leaves her post,
With a gaze of mild regret. Shes very put upon,
The Sun winks knowingly back to her,
Theyll have a tryst in private later on.

Morning. Spring must be coming — the birds are loud outside.

I’m waiting for the trees to look all lacy green. It means the weather will continue to get warmer. And I’ll get to go out and sit in the sun!

There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
I cremated Sam McGee.

Yah. It still looks like winter outside, though it's getting light earlier.

It’s a kindness, ‘Face.
She’s offering to see to it that you do get warm again.
