And now, having donned my a$$less chaps, I shall proceed to mount my ride and go a-hurtling recklessly through a dark and windy canyon....

You drive around here in CA.
When I had some minor surgery my doctor say you fix computers? you can go back to work in a few days. I told well it's more, I drive around most of the time then go into a office crawl on the floor and wait to talk to some one. I was out a full week.
I drive an average 36,000 miles a year for work.
My gas is paid for with a card provided my the company and for $100 it included all the personal use I want. Insurance, repair and gas paid for.

LOL!
TT: It sounds to me as if you spent the early years of your life in a country that has no respect for BRILLIANCE!
Welcome to America!
Crawling around on the floor, fixing computers/printers/periferals is really nasty stuff!
But we LOVE you, Man!

Made it. No rain yet, but that chilly wind was blowing, so I know it’s not far off.

I don’t EVEN want to check the weather. I’m happy in my ignorance! LOL!
Were you on the bike or in the truck?

Good morning! It’s Sally’s birthday (8), and we have to pick Elen up from camp, and then get everyone cleaned up for church. If Anoreth doesn’t make us too mad today, we’ll let her drive to youth group tonight by herself. She’s not allowed to drive after 9:00 p.m. on her restricted license, but she should be home by 8:30.

No, the opportunity for her to drive somewhere (useful) by herself just didn’t come up yesterday.
