Never mind me. I just got out from my first full day in the new windowless office and feel a bit batty. It now has a sign hanging above the door identifying it as "The BAC Cave" (BAC: Building Automation Controls) and in keeping with that theme it is kept dark -- one 20W halogen desk lamp, and all computer monitors dimmed so they don't illuminate the place.
Actually makes it feel larger than it is.
But at least it's acoustically isolated enough from other offices that I can play music on speakers.

It’s OK, sion. I should be used to it, but it always seems to take me by surprise.
Hopefully, I can sit out in the sun in a week or two, and just let my body soak up some rays. Let's hope so. I'm not a basker -- my office was a bit on the warm today (for all I have the 'stat set as low as it will go) and I nearly switched from the walkers to the faux Birkenstocks I haven't worn in years. The fan is getting more use... need to oil the bearings again.
Got to find a heat source to place below the thermostat so I can make my office pleasantly chilly.

This time next week, we should be 76 (in Vegas) which means about 80, here.
And with that, I’m off to the Blanket Show. Every time I move, the chills overtake me again, so I’m going to go get parallel to the deck.
(Pretty sad, really, as I have a small heater under my desk, trying to warm up my legs and feet...)
