The Tempur-Pedic is probably the best thing that we’ve ever purchased. No kidding. They come in different thicknesses as well as sizes and we bought the thickest (12” I believe) as it is slightly less firm than the two thinner designs. After 3 years you can’t even tell that it has ever been slept on — always springs right back to perfectly flat.
You’ve been in the Orient too long. I want to buy one, but I wanted word of mouth verification of its value.
Thanks for the feedback.
Bought the tempur-pedic and never looked back. Absolutely the BEST!
Couldn’t stand the king-size water bed, so I took out the bladders, went to WalMart and bought two Coleman camping mattresses at $20 each and stuffed ‘em into the soft-side casing and pillow-topped shell of the water bed. Three years later, still loving it!
We purchased a sleep number bed last spring and love it. We were hesitant to spend the money but are so happy that we did.

I have a queen softside waterbed and needing to go back to regular mattress...how does it go with the air staying in the air mattresses...and do you feel that a queen size mattress would fit the inside of the softside????
I currently have a pillow top firm mattress. I again woke up with extreme back pains upper and lower. I used to love a waveless waterbed I had years ago, so was thinking of getting another one, but this time the soft side.
I read you’re getting rid of yours. May I ask why?
Thank you!
