I have seen pictures of some scary REAL stuff - I don’t need to see photoshopped horror. Especially with eyes. Don’t know why it got to me, but it did. Guess it is because the eyes are the “Windows to the Soul” thang.

Good Morning everybody.
Today is our 52nd Anniversary, and we’ve been celebrating all week with friends and neighbors. We’re pooped!
Tonight we will go out alone for a nice quiet dinner and a good nights sleep.
If we make another year, lol, I think we’ll do it with less celebration. (Well, we may not have a choice, sighhhhhhh.)
To: grannie9
Congratulations Gran - Have a wonderful day and a great dinner this evening.
To: Cardhu
Thank you Sweety.
I loved the Library PP. What beautiful places. I did take notice that the fewest books were in the Berkley, CA. one.
Figures.....;)
To: grannie9
Congratulations to you Grannie, you did well. 52 years!

Thank you, Dear Doggie. Al would tell you that it wasn't always easy, lol. ;)
Change of plans on dinner tonight. The old gray-haired lady thought of her choices or places to eat and decided it could be much better at home.
So....we are having Mussels and Shrimps in a Fra Diavlo sauce over linguine with a nice strip or tenderloin steak from the grill. Also some crusty Portuguese rolls for dipping and cheesecake for dessert. ;)
If we were home, I'd have thrown a couple lobsters in that sauce....sighhhhhhhhh.

Beautiful! Thanks for posting that.

Aww Right,
Some of us are on a diet here and we can’t stand to look at menus like what you posted for you supper . . .
I never heard of a Fra Diavlo sauce anyway.

Ohhhhhhhhhh....thank you so much, Lady J. That’s a beauty!
To: Sundog
Not to worry, Doggie. I'm on a diet too, so I will watch my Linguine and bread, and I'll just nibble on the dessert a bit...lol.
My Fra Diavlo will be a spicy hot and light spaghetti sauce.Hey, one day out of sooooo many won't kill me, (hopefully)
I'll do some exercise in the pool and hit the treadmill for a short walk. ;)
Yeah, that's the ticket!
To: fanfan
LOL...wow is right. When I was a youngster I thought 40 was old age. Now I’ve been married longer than that. You just never know................;)
To: grannie9
So true.
When I was young, I figured old age was something that happened suddenly, after you got, well, old.
I’ve lived long enough now to know it creeps up on you.
And I’m not talking about our husbands. ;-)
