Thanks. Haven't gotten the best ones yet. My hiking partner is a much better photographer...with a much better camera. Sure wish I could post full sized shots from Fotki. The smaller version doesn't do the scene justice. Most of mine were overexposed. I'm not used to this camera yet and was using the image stabilizer. Apparently I shouldn't have done that.

Those are hysterical! Why do we find it funny to see someone get hit, fall, or break something? I don’t know - but they all gave me a good laugh this morning!
(BTW - the first one mirrors my skiing talents.) LOL!

Beautiful castle, Cardi! I will have to do a search to find out if the rooms are rented out. I have read that most castles are maintained by leasing the space for reunions, weddings, receptions, dances, plays, etc.

"With you post about the food there I suspect they ate in the area of Carcassonne too."Probably so.
I've always found wonderful places to eat in the countryside or lesser known towns/villages. Great fresh food, unpretentiously yet beautifully presented and agreeably priced.
