Nights of Silk and Tears.
“Silk and Tears”. Appropriate title - I didn’t feel sadness with the music - perhaps the tears are those heart-felt tears that come with absolute love and greatfulness.
Music touches the soul of those that are alive. Tears show sadness and joy both emotions flavor life´s banquet.
Looks like sea lion is taunting shark....and having loads of fun doing it. Yeah, I can relate to that! :P
That’s sweet, Cardy. I didn’t know it was Gran’s birthday! Is she turning 28 again???
BTW, my birthday is Aug 25th. I’ll be 28 again too.
That should give you plenty of time to host me a program as well. (hint hint) :)
Well derly I know shawls and antimacassars are not for you. Something more voluptuous, sinful and deliciously degenerate is called for.
Damn, all these 28 year olds when I am almost 40.
Beautiful music, Cardy.
Do you know where that graphic came from?
*rolls eyes in amazement*
I think it looked more like a hot fudge sundae with cherries on top.
;-)
Wow...what a beautiful birthday card, Cardy. Smoooooooooch, and thank you sooo much, and of course I just loved the music that played along.
Sorry, that I haven’t been around too much lately, but I got a wonderful birthday present. My daughter Dyan and her fiance’(?) flew down for a couple days for a surprise visit to help me celebrate my 2nd 69th burfday. ;)
We had a blast! We laughed, ate, played cards, went boating, swimming, and then did all that over and over again. Oh, and we yelled and cursed a lot too, lol.
We just got back from taking them to the airport. Lots of tears, but it was one of the best birthday presents I ever had. They all kept this secret from me for a whole month.. ..
(It’s not nice to fool Grannie like that.)
:(/:)
Thanks kids,....and Cardy, you only drank all the wine because you knew that I couldn’t. So I forgive. (ahunh)
I have it in a Presentation from about two months ago - I saved it for Gran´s birthday. I do not know where it came from but I will try and find out for you.
Of course I did -- you need all the help you can get and the good and noble Cardi is willing to sacrifice his body and his liver for his friends.
Thank you Yorkie. I had a really great one. ;)
Sheeeeeeeesh, now back to the ordinary drudge again....sighhhhhh
Diet,....sunshine, cooking...sunshine, reading,...sunshine....ohhhhhhhhhh...all the old stuff. ;)
Smooooooooooooooooch,...thank you sweety! That’s just beautiful.
I’ll bet you made that with Reflet, you clever girl.
Happy Birthday, Gran.
(You’re special-—I logged on just to say this to you.)
Dear Cardy.........you are a gentleman of the first order.
Of course you always order first, so your guest has the least money to spend on her meal.... ;)
Kidding...you did a terrific job, and I’d give you a great big pat on the back if I could reach you.:)
Doggie, how sweet of you. I’ve missed you honey, where have you been keeping yourself? I hope it’s been somewhere having lots of fun.
I can stick out my tongue and touch my eyebrows...
Were you able to put the conflagration out? Did you make a wish?
