Have you checked McCain’s position regarding Guantanamo, or aggressively questioning terrorists?

He wants it closed, and for the terrorists to get fair trials before liberal judges, which is exactly what will happen.

No McCain for me. He has hot temper, and it’s scary to imagine his fingers on the nuclear trigger.

McCain also will not be able to win general election despite the current prop-up by MSM. He is simply too old for a ‘changing’ election.

If it’s between Huckabee, Romney and McCain, I think McCain is the best choice.

Hopefully Fred can pull through.

McCain has constantly voted against domestic oil drilling. Think about that next time you fill up. Oil is over $100.00 a bbl now and that is your energy dollars sent to people that hate us and want the destruction of America.

McCain DOES NOT have the best interests of America at heart!

I made up my mind a long time ago - I won’t vote for McCain.

Have you forgotten . . . John McCain selling America down the river last summer, defying will of most Americans and shoving the foolish illegal immigration amnesty bill (WHICH HE WROTE!) down our throats. He refused to give an inch until he realized the bill was dead.

Have you forgotten . . . John McCain and with his attack on free speech (McCain-Feingold “Campaign Finance Reform”). This was an absolute travesty and an assault on our Constitution.

I’ll never forget the picture of him and his Senate buddies laughing and backslapping at the prospect of shoving amnesty upon America - how disgusting! His failure to grasp these fundamental issues fails to get my vote.

Just because McCain was a POW doesn’t mean he is qualified to be the President. The man is NOT a conservative.

Thompson/Hunter in 2008!

He seems the only one with America truley imbeded in his heart

First off, learn to spell “truly”and "embedded."

Second, McCain is the one who stated in public that Americans would not pick lettuce for 50 bucks an hour, and that we need to morph another 20 -30 million illegals to legal status here.

If thats your idea of true American values, then you can have them. - and him.

Reasons liberals like McCain—Keating 5, position on immigration, McCain-Feingold, Gang of 14 blocking Bush judicial nominees, vote against Bush tax cuts.

McCain would advance liberalism much more effectively than any Democrat president would. Republican candidates on the ballot would lose across the board if McCain is the nominee, for lack of conservative voter turnout, giving the Democrats huge majorities in the house and senate.

The remaining Republicans would rubber stamp McCain’s radical leftist agenda, whereas they’d at least put up a display of opposition to a Democrat president’s liberal agenda for the purpose of maintaining their political support back home.

If McCain won, mainstream Republicanism would move way to the left and mainstream Democratism would also move to the left. Future Republican candidates would need to be as liberal as McCain or else be defined as extreme.

Faced with a disaster like this, it would be best if the Democrat was elected so we could maintain some semblance of conservatism in the country.
