Well, if you were closer I would, I love small dinner parties where I get to dive into my favorite recipes and create.

It stopped snowing last night around 6pm, we still have snow on the ground - we did not get a big wallop here, but enough to close the schools yesterday. Driving was lousy for those folks who were out there.
We have the snow alert on the Weather Channel for this weekend, so we shall see.

Kinda iffy for here, may happen maybe not. I saw on the tube you guys got socked!

I’m glad you like it! I wrote it last summer, watching some big fire, but I forgot which one....

Good morning everyone!
Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!

Your reference to the black smoking rising to a black dragon is just wonderful! ;0)

That’s what a big fire plume looks like, to me, sometimes...and certainly eat the landscape that way!

Meg, so pretty!! I guess there is something about snow that moves us to write about it. Weather in general does affect our moods for good or ill. ;0)

This is how a foot of snow looks around the goldfish pond. It used to be a koi pond till the hawks ate them all.

I’m enjoying your snow viariously..Turned on the main weather channel to see it and what is predicted..Interviews with some expressed joy and wonder at the snow..(these did not include commuters on the road for hours)..
I framed three more pictures with snow..LOL!

what a bummer, I was helping a friend here at the coffee shop set up her wifi account, and some low-life just stole my cell phone off the table just three feet away. Had to ask Nancy to call the company and have the phone shut down until I can get it replaced. What a rip!

Oh how pretty, just like a fluffy marshmallow! Beautiful!
Fish gotta swim
birds gotta fly
why the hawks ate
the koi, I know not why.
Sorry, I just had to do it- I don’t know why. ;)
To: WayzataJOHNN
Oh for Pete sake! How low.
