Shannon likes to attack my rear as I sit here at the computer. Wednesday just oozed over, sniffed my ankle, and called me a name. Now she’s gone back behind the recliner. It reminds me that I need to get her a vet appointment!

DC, could we get the dwarven miners to sing, er, chant the book “Basic economics”?

We could try. They've been trying to learn Swahili for some reason. Maybe they could do a "chant and reply" type thing. One set would sing in English, the other group would reply in Swahili.

Maybe we could get a couple of them to fire up the bagpipes in the background to round things out nicely...

Anoreth is all the intimidation any boy can handle! I’m kind of surprised this boy asked her out - there are some others with more gumption - but maybe he likes the same music she does, or writes and illustrates fantasy stories.

Not much chance of a problem if they go to a movie or spend an afternoon at a coffeehouse. We’ll just have to see what she decides. She was checking the movie listings earlier.

Got a question... Have you seen this commercial? Do you recognize the song at all? Was it something they came up with, or should I recognize it from something more traditional?

And then we could sell the recordings in Africa, where they can use all the "Basic Economics" they can get! English instruction, too.

Our Congress to listen to it. They need it more than anyone else on the entire planet. We are supposed to be THE vanguard of capitalism and freedom and yet they continue to flush it all away.

While we're up here playing with rocks and the tele-frag, maybe we could drop one on their heads. It'd be a 232,389,719 mile shot, but I think I can do it...

It might take several tries ... I'll make sure I've got a large bottle of wine and lots of pretzels.

3-shot calibration. As long you don’t have a pressing need to visit either Borneo or Toronto, we should be ok...

Borneo can go, but doesn’t fanfan live in Toronto?

Can you triangulate using Brussels instead?

530! Congratulations to me for hitting this significant number!

(Now I’m going to put Vlad to bed, and then go run.)

Actually, I can't exactly calibrate the point of impact from that far out. Hence the need for two extreme precision shots.

I won't actually know where those first two shots are going until after they hit. I can then use that data to get those extra decimal points on the right hand side and land one right in Biden's lap.

It could very well take out Munich and Tashkent instead. I'm dealing with something on the order of 8 or 9 decimal places of precision on something that was only meant for 2.

No, I'm in Ottawa. Go ahead and take out Toronto.

Any others we can take care of whilst we have the hardware out?

I'm aiming from 1,227,017,716,320 feet away. I'm trying to hit one target about 2' wide. Originally, we only set this system up to handle maybe a couple of yards worth of variance at distances of a couple hundred miles. Statistically, when tele-porting around the Castle, we wanted to only be off a few millimeters. Any variance we wanted on the "free air" side of a surface to prevent popping into existence in the same space as another solid object.

Now stretch that "fudge factor" out to millions of miles, and being off by half a continent isn't surprising.

I've got a few filters I'm working on to get down to that .0000000000000001 of a degree that should allow me to hit what I'm aiming at.

Collecting the data from the first two shots allows me that control.

Just ‘cause they had it on paper doesn’t mean it would have worked.
Have to admire the audacity of the designers, though.

The Nazi UFO / Antarctic base thing is a hobby of mine. I don’t believe it in it, but I like RPGs, and “Square Jawed Allied Heroes vs. Antarctic Space Nazis and Evil Vril Lords at the Center of the Hollow Earth” is just too good to pass up.

Nah, Toronto is socialist central, the rest of Ontario is mostly conservative.

And, if the blast is big enough, it could make Lake Ontario bigger.
All good.

It’s only 4 1/2 hours from here to Toronto, so please aim carefully.

LOL! You’re too kind. I told Anoreth the other day that I’d given up on her being a refined young lady, and she said, “Well, duh! That’s boring. I’m a shield-maiden!”

Maybe I can turn the little girls into refined young ladies, and all the brothers can protect them from prowlers who don’t have college degrees and promising futures.
