Howie might think he has gotten away but sometimes the wheels of justice move awfully slow. His day will come in maybe not so distant future.

My heart hopes you are right apocalypto. However, we know there are so many shady areas of truth in life and politics and I think after over a year, this is an example.
I suspect Brown was nothing more than a big bag of wind doing a momentary favor. Not one action against a legal killer in over a year. She is free to go on and kill others with that smirk on her face! It wasn’t a difficult case. With what was public information alone was enough for a very damaging case but Brown and the Medical board did nothing with it. Talk is cheap. Bottom line is, they basically look the other way if you have a license to kill.

For living the mantra, “no lawsuit left behind”, he should get the award for the lawyer most able to stretch and twist the legal system. The faux baby daddy of Anna Nicole Smith, Stern has engaged in a series of lawsuits purportedly on her behalf. Starting with a dog of a case, the decade long dispute over her deceased husband’s billion dollar estate (which has churned millions in litigation fees for both sides), Stern is a veritable litigation lottery. Even while losing the case at nearly every stage along the way and getting a narrow reprieve from the Supreme Court he has managed to run the score in litigation fees. Along the way he discovered a cornucopia of new suits to file on her behalf. And even after Anna Nicole Smith’s death Stern managed to grab the legal responsibilities of handling her estate and even the financial interests of her young daughter Dannielynn.

As a former prosecutor; she was a corrupt one. Reprminded by higher courts a few times. Her career was headed south until TV make believe came her way. Perper fits right up her alley! They are probably best buds. Victims rights! Even that she rode on a lie. Why people watch and provide ratings for that bully to go on I don’t understand.
The former prosecutor has been reprimanded for unethical conduct by appellate judges at least three times, with one noting:

After the unbelievable Kelly acquittal I started to worry what the jury would let Neil walk. Maybe someday there will be also justice for Daniel Smith.
Daniel Smith, an American citizen, needs justice. And he can still get it. Yes, our government can step in. Look at two cases:
David Copperfield was accused of rape in the Bahamas, the accusing victim an Americna citizen I do not know what has become of the case, but US Government did get involved.
Now the highly interesting case of Ms. Erika Posselt, who surely has gotten a special treatment from the Feds. Erika Posselt is a Mexican citizen, a country only our politicians love. She was kidnapped not in US but in Mexico and ransom was asked.
Did Mexican authorities negotiate her release? No, it was the US Government. Yeah, us. The Fed did something they have refused so far to do for our own citizens. The ransom was paid, the kidnappers were allowed to escape, and the Ms. Erika Posselt was rushed to El Paso, Texas. I suppose next Ms. Posselt, the poster person for special privileges, will get a medal along with green card if not citizenship. btw, the entitled Ms. Posselt is an in-law of Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D, Texas).
This might be relevant to demand action for Daniel Smith. If the Feds get involved in a case of a Mexican kidnapped by apparently Mexicans in Mexico, this could well be an argument for the Feds to try to get justice for Daniel Smith, an American citizen who never demanded special privileges. Rep. Reyes, being from Texas, surely would demand this for American citizens unless he is corrupt.
Virgie Arthur, or anyone in Texas interested in justice for Daniel Smith, should contact Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D, Texas). Reyes got the US law enforcement to handle the case of a Mexican kidnapped by Mexicans in Mexico, the great lady Erika Posselt who then was whisked into the US. I know it is hard to believe but this is true, and there are threads on FR discussing this case. If this was done for a foreigner in a foreign country, why not for an American victim?
Who might have ended up with the ransom money? Not hard to imagine an inside job. So many questions here, so little media coverage of the great lady Erika Posselt who was given this grand treatment. Then there is the unjust treatment given to Virgie Arthur.
