Cool - early evening Saturday Gun Pron....The Sportsman, saw a lot of those in the racks in years past; good solid shotguns.
The comment about using riot guns for skeet shooting to teach pilots and gunners principles of lead and follow through. A young skeet shooter in California was an instructor, his name Robert Stack, yup, ‘Eliot Ness’ from the old Untouchables TV show.

We’re not going to be able to go for 3 weeks now. I’m pulling Bay’s shoes Monday so we can treat a fungus he’s got. So I’m glad we got to go today.
If you're not looking for a collector's item, and aren't concerned about future collector value, find any ol' used Remington 870, and cut the barrel down to 18.5-20 inches. You can always add a magazine extension or folding stock afterwards.
If money isn't much of an object, the Benelli M4 tactical is similar to current military purchases.

While not a true riot gun, I have an extra barrel for my ‘75 model 870 Wingmaster. I found an older model 2 3/4 chamber 20” barrel that had rifle sights on it. It does just fine, the plug is presently removed so it’s a five shot model now.
Benellis are finicky about ammo...
I needtuh be lookin’ fer riot/trench guns... ain’t too many left on the market.. also need tuh find a beat up cheap double barrel tuh “modify”...

heh, sure, it ~ just ~ happened to be that way.
He’ll be fine, it’s not hurting him any yet, it’s just that it’s under the shoe and I can’t get to it to treat it. I’ve tried. I just need a few weeks to get at it. I hate to do that in the middle of summer, but I don’t want to wait till the wet season to start treating it, I’ll never get it dry.
