Not like the withdrawal I will have starting next week. From sometime Wednesday or Thursday, at least until Sunday, I will be away at our diocesan camp-out at Mt Lassen. I won’t even have cellphone service there, so unless I can sneak over to Mt. Shasta I will be cut off completely.

Yes, they’re in a special reptile habitat, like an aquarium, only with screen at the top and doors at the front.

Maybe you could sell the babies back to the pet store?That's a possibility. The book from the library says that they're likely to keep laying all summer and fall (like the darned swallows! :-), but that it's difficult to hatch the eggs. Bill's put the eggs into a container of dirt and is hoping to incubate them. I said it was up to him.

Update: Der Prinz thinks they’re not a male-female pair, just two females, one older than the other. That would mean the one was ready to lay eggs before we got her, and we won’t have more than two batches.

I solved the fire alarm problem by setting a fan up on the table to blow the smoke/heat into the kitchen/out the kitchen window. It was that or listen to it every time I made toast.
