Just had a phone interview with Target Corp. Went pretty good. Zon works for a management consulting firm and gave me some really good pointers on how to answer some of the questions. They didn't ask some of the ones she said they'd probably bring up, but I did manage to work in some of the points anyway.

Next, my resume and the results of the phone screen go to the hiring managers in each of the departments I applied for (6 of 'em). I should hear something back in the next couple of weeks.

Waiting on an overnight package from the closing attorney for our house. It should have our "check" in it. We made out pretty good all things considered.

Welp... that's about it from my world... Not sure when I'll get another chance to check in. It's pretty hit and miss these days.

I’ve been on the go since 7:30 and didn’t get back into the house until noon. The monsoons are beginning,and the humidity is up, so naturally, I feel washed out.
But by darn...I’m here!

Yes and no.

Yes because the cloud cover helps to drop the temps five or six degrees, but no, because the humidity often gets into the 20's, (sometimes the 30's) and those of us who are old-time desert dwellers have a hard time breathing.

And we don't always get rain where we want it. SOME part(s) of the valley will get rain every day for the next 6-12 weeks, but the only constant is the humidity.
