I know Meg, thank God they are stumble bums. Or who knows maybe it’s one of their tactics. I just can’t think in those evil ways.
After Wednesday, our temps have been in the 70s with low humidity, the air is so easy to breathe. Good break and it looks to be like this over the weekend, too. YAY!
Hope you don’t have to roast over the weekend.
I am gonna make some coffee, I need a good charge. ;)

Any chance of mosquito infestation with all of that water?

Good. I was also wondering is county or the state do the typical spraying of chemicals to ward off the mosquitos?

I love my A/C! I can’t believe I grew up in Texas when homes were not air conditioned...and thrived.

Yes, that was a fete indeed. I grew up without even a fan, we never had electricity until 1950! Hot outhouses, too.
It was country, and we did just fine.
Then being out in those hot hay fields, oh my goodness. I don’t really like to sweat, but it does help. Then of course, as a Finn kid we had the sauna! It was our way of life and one did sweat in there. :)

They do spray/fog as a rule in my daughter’s suburb near Houston..but I haven’t seen it here...at least not in my neighborhood..The mosquitos were terrible here after the last heavy rain spell. I change the water daily in the birdbath even when it has rained a lot...
Of course water will be standing in the ravine once the runoff stops and that will breed plenty of mosquitos.

Nothing new in England on the 7:00 pm news, thank heavens.

We don’t have a Costco store here as far as I know, we do have Sam’s Club some miles away, my kids go there.
My freezer needs to be cleaned out and some older stuff heaved out, then I could lay in some supplies.
Having your freezer stocked will be great for you now that you have your RV!

...um... Good guess, but that'd be a little too long a 'Saturday drive' for us, I'm afraid.

Well, no, not exactly, but that's closer at least.
